  • Very impressive in all respects. You really capture the street level activity with the video angles and the slow, methodical engine speed. And, your craftsmanship is first rate!!! Thanks for treating us to your layout.

  • einfach genial, Deine Anlage und die Videos

  • hehe just looked up the location on grain car on Google Earth Place still there but no longer has tracks

  • love the loco

  • What type of camera do you use?

  • Super layout! great operation - lived in Philadelphia and saw lot's of street running!

  • I grew up in Philadelphia and saw lot's of industrial and street switching by the Reading and B&O -this is a great RR and fun to watch! Thnx

  • very imprseve layout! I like the 25 tonner. Nice beacon on the roof and it sounds great!

  • Very beautiful model. Congratulations.

  • I wanted to know who makes that MDT switcher it runs really good and usually short wheelbase engines run like crap yet this one seems very reliable,I like your layout is it all switching or do you have a mainline also I like your style. Steve

  • This 25-ton is scratch build. Go to my homepage and find the layout.

  • Cool Lehigh Cement hopper. Cool vid.

  • can anyone give me advice on how to be able to get all that fancy ho equipment ?

  • thats cool, i wish i had that kind of money to buy that fancy stuff, im one of the several poor people in this country,if i had that kinda money right now to buy that fancy stuff i would do it this very second, not to mention enough space to set it all up

  • It looks really good, but do they actually leave freight cars around the street like that?

  • In larger cities where you have congested industrial areas it was a common practice. Google B&O in Fells Point in Baltimore, Chicago Northside Switching or the Ballard Terminal Railroad and you'll see examples of this.

  • Hey Im new at model railroading im n scale though but i am facing turnout stalling too i need help

  • Go to a forum like TrainBoard and post there, you will get the help you need. Here's too less space.

  • Awesome layout, I wish I had street running on my little 2 1/2 foot by 6 foot switching layout.

  • railfanners at 0:39

  • I've paid about 100 Euro for Loksound micro, 60 Euro for the driving unit from Australian . And some brass sheet and more for scratch building.

  • How much did that Shunter Cost you? and Is it DCC when you got it or did you make it DCC?

  • awesome video as usual. you better get your crews fixing that bad track at 3:10. lol.

  • Yes, they should better align the segments. :-)

Third Street District is one module of four segments.

  • No, the driving unit is from Hollywood Foundry. And the 25-ton comes up to 100 g (3.5oz), I've made it from brass!

  • Great work!!

Have you added extra pickups? My switcher always stalls on turnout. I have Atlas switches and those are with isolated frogs but wheel base is wider than frog width. Still i face stalling problem.

    Best regards
