Hi, this is a "GK" model which is solid basswood. You can get great clean jazz sound with both the solid and the later chambered versions of the Klein guitars. The real resonance is in Lorenzo's 1 piece (no truss rod) rosewood neck. You can feel the notes you play in your hand.
hi, nice guitar and sound, i'm thinking about buying one of these kleinbergers , is yours the solid body model made for steinberger (the non chamberd version)? i mainly play modern jazz what is the clean sound like do you think i could i get a good clean jazz tone out of this kind of guitar? i read that these guitars have a really resonant body ....
Thanks! I still have all my TTs, I just like a real hardtail better and I never use the transposing featres of the TT. I like the S-Trem if I want a trem function.
