Thanks - other sources also say it is Siravo - Ithink it must be right - the reason I questioned it was that it seemed strange for one track of the album "You're My Thrill" to be arranged & conducted by someone else - I was thinking maybe the track had been recorded sometime earlier and put int the album - anyway thanks again

@Jamesmac30 I'm lucky enough to have all the Bear Family sets so I do have the information. I'll try to send you the info this week. The sets are really great. At one time I thought they contained all her recordings - but I've found out that there are many more than they included. But - they have a large number of her recordings. And lots of good info too. I'll get that info to you this week !! =)

Even though the gray background of a young Doris Day is beautiful it makes it nearly impossible to read the light blue text on the page and under each video. Yes - Peggy Lee has a wonderful voice. I put Doris up there with her ... I love her version of this song. I don't think there's any better ballad singer than Doris.

I think her movie career somehow took precedence over her singing career. Too bad ... but we have some wonderful music from her.

Thanks Annette - I'll check that out. To me she's kind of the feminine Sinatra. In the sense that she was the most successful movie star - singing star. There were certainly other female singers that equaled Sinatra's popularity - but none that were #1 in the box office. She was amazing. I don't know how she had time to do all that she did. No wonder she wanted to retire to Carmel and devote her life to animal welfare. I hope she's had time to really enjoy life.
