What I find interesting is that this may come as a surprise to people such as myself who have been a fans of non-fiction programs about crime investigation and prosecution like City Confidential, American Justice, The First 48 etc. I had always just assumed that ballistics and finger printing were long established sciences.
I learned something powerful about assumptions tonight.
@Richardgwm Also, the Jury is quite useless, since most of them are layman's who are not well versed in logic and rhetoric and could easily fall to fallacious arguments (eg appeal to emotion).
