Love this video...Rod was my favorite player when I was about 12. I met him once and cried my eyes out, out of sheer happiness. Jim Hendry made a HUGE mistake releasing him in 1999. RIP Shooter, you were fantastic.

What affiliation did Beck have with the 05' White Sox? Was wondering cuz that was kind of a random clip in the middle of that.

As a Giants fan, I remeber Beck from when I was a little kid. Mullet, handle bar mustache, arm dangling as he took the signs from the catcher. RIP Rod, you'll be missed.

also the opening picture of Dusty Baker is not with Rod Beck as Dusty only managed Rod as a Giant, while Rod was a Cub he was with the team prior to Bakers arrival.
