  • I have tried that, and all it does for me is cut the clip to the amount of time I have keyed in

  • how did u do that? i've edited the speed of clips on pro at school but i have express at home and i cant figure out how

  • Here are the steps at least in my latest version of FCX:

    1. In your timeline, select all clips you want sped up/down.

    2. Right click on one of the selected clips (to bring up the contextual menu)

    3. Select "Duration" menu item

    4. In the set duration dialog that comes up, change the duration of the clip to whatever you want.

    >> The result will be applied across all of the clips you selected.

  • Select the clip you want to speed up and hit CMD + J . Then set the speed you want. You can also slow the clip down and reverse it this way.
