  • AFRICAL FAT TAILED GECKOS ARE FOM THE DESERT.THEY ARE GOOD IN SAND

but i do suggest repti carpet

  • @gecko116 I wish people would do some research before they say stuff...

  • This fat tail gecko is the cutest! The way he was licking his chops was adorable in the previous vidios!

  • i had a leopard gekko but he died!:( i have a fat tailed gekko now and shes great!!

i keep her on sand and shes fine! (ive had her 4 about 4 years)

  • i have a lepord gecko and i will not give her sand until she is 8 inches. she is now 7 inches and her name is Gex

  • You could mix about 25% of your sand, and about 75% of unfertilized potting soil. Then ontop of that use a little bit of moss. That helps keep the moisture up and it stays scoopable...I hate to pick up gecko crap...and being able to scoop with a scooper is great....

  • I wasn't calling you a newbie :)

  • Never impulse buy you newbie.

Get that fat tail off the sand ASAP. Sand is WAY too dry for them. You are pretty much ASKING for a lung infection.

  • You don't have to be rude about it. I've had him for 10 years and hes fine.

  • Well keep him on sand then i changing mines to repti carpet

  • i might get a fat tailed. i think i'll name him larry :)

  • should I get a fat tail or a leo?

  • I have 2 of both i like them :P

  • you have a cute pet i want him.... :D
