  • This is caused by some type of bacteria. Get Apple Cider Vinegar. Use undiluted on a cotton ball, I believe that will help you.

You can apply several times during the day.

  • I have these same scalp sores and they do come and go. Lucky Tiger Ointment works wonders for me whenever they start flaring up. I no longer get the pus, bleeding and scabbing over cycle that was common prior to using Lucky Tiger. I'm sure if you google it you can find someone in your area who sells it. I think I paid $5 or $6 each for two 4 oz. jars a few years ago and the 2nd jar is still almost full! So it's very inexpensive, very effective and lasts a very long time. Hope this helps.

  • My 26 year old son had folliculitis decalvans. Seems to be localized scurvy essentially. High-dose vitamin C cured it. He dissolves about 25 grams of vitamin C crystals in a water bottle and sips it all day long. Cathcart's paper on titrating to bowel tolerance should be studied as well. My son's follicles stopped clumping and the non-scarred scalp fully recovered. Initially, I treated the infection nightly slathering on Manuka honey). That did wonders on the scale.

  • humankind organics shampoo takes between 4 days - 2 weeks to work depending on severity of the sores. We've had the most amazing feedback from customers, what they find incredible is, that its all natural and organic!

  • this will work, it takes about 2 months of use before it will stop the sores.

  • No.. and he tried the coconut oil and it helped... Get the coconut oil capsules... I think that the antifungal antibactirial properties deminish once the jar opens... Keep them in the fridge reapply and see does it work

  • Hey. my neighbor has the same thing going on her scalp. She showed me yesterday. It's terrible. Her doctor wants to do a biopsy, and I told her to let the doctor do it: find out what it is! he showed me other spots that have left completely bald spots after lesions healed. Have you heard of morgellons? Some says chemtrail planes are dropping little critters on us that eat into people's flesh like this and create these sores. Get tested for parasites

  • oh yeah and listerine!

    use a listerine garlic paste

    then wash with baby shampoo

then a light touch of neosporin

and increase your intake of garlic, echinacea and golden seal

    read your bible and pray

  • use baby shampoo and put neosporin on it, health and healing to you.

  • Before they start what did I put in your hair?

  • minocycline will do the trick

  • I HAVE NOT TRIED IT YET HOWEVER SOMEONE SUGGESTED NEUTROGENA T GEL SHAMPOO

  • i went to the doctor and was prescribed some antibiotics and it worked for me.

  • @idunno4got I got prescribed antibiotics 4 times already. It would always go away for 2 ~ 3 months after the meds are up. But after that mark, it comes back. Every time. I'm done taking in chemicals.

  • @KrazeDiamond had the same problem. Also had antibiotics prescribed. My dermatologist now prescribes me Isotretinoine. It's an anti-acne drug. It works. Not ideal because it's a heavy drug and it still returns, but now I now that it all be gone two weeks after taking the drug again.

  • @honicjoy I see...I'm still looking for a real remedy....Tried all kinds of shampoo, stopped using hair spray, stopped eating greasy/fried food, stopped eating sweets, a complete healthy diet....for years...nothing helped. The sores keep coming back..

  • @KrazeDiamond Did your doctor say if it was fungal or bacterial folliculitis?

  • @1167Mauricio Bacterial. I had one that grew so big and caused that part of the scalp to be over-stretched and died....Yes, died. I had it drained 3 times, kept growing back. Antibiotics didn't work at all. So it was surgically removed, along with the dead skin. Now I got a piece on my head missing, look like I was shot in the head before. My advice: had it removed when it's still small and not painful, there's a piece of white stuff that will grow into a cyst.

  • @KrazeDiamond Correction, it CAN grow into a cyst, there's no knowing whether it will or not. I know one of mine did.

  • Coming Soon...Head Sores 2.

  • @jsalazarjr lmao

  • i have three of these on the back of my head there really itchy and red , if anone has a quick relief cure answer please !! thankyou

  • Earth clinic look up the website...they have remedies that can help you

  • I have these too! Let me know what sorts yours out.

  • Use erythromicin 2% GEL and apply on sores. Poof! they are gone. My dermatologist first prescribed the liquid version and that did not work at all, the GEL works great. Of course, oral antibiotic works too but not very practical taking it every 3-4 months due to the breakouts. Sorry, no permanent solution.

  • @nfn2000 Did the doctor say if you have fungal or bacterial folliculitis?

  • This definitively looks like a case of scalp folliculitis because I too suffer from the same annoying condition. The dermatologist prescribed Doxycycline oral antibiotics which work only too take away some of the initial breakout. Using a clyndamicin foam or get for the scalp does also help. The best shampoos for this condition I have found to be Zinc PCA shampoo and Revita by DS Laboratories. These worked the best and have kept it from getting worse. Hope this helps.

  • iM pretty sure this is what I got

  • It may also have something to do with neurodermatitis.

  • Thank you for posting. If you have more details, that may help. I forgot to tell that I used Nizoral shampoo as well. Nizoral is for a fungus infection, but I tend to belive this is a staph infection.

  • I may have the same problem. I took Augmentin and I washed my scalp with celandine and worwood decoction. I also drank viola decoction three times a day before meals for about two weeks. The papules/pustules disappeared or at least backed off, but the pain still persists when I press on the scares. It also hurts occasionally when I go out and it is colder than inside. The scares are very pruriginous, but they don’t itch all the time.

  • my mom said its because like if u have dandruff and u scratch your head alot it makes soars in your head

  • @shara651 That was a problem as well. I had a very dry scalp. Add to that stress, OCD, and constant itching. The problem just continued to get worse. Thanks for the feedback.

  • You need to get to a DERM real quick. My advice is NOT to use any steroid topical treatment and ask for topical and oral antibiotics. They may try and offer you oral antibiotics with a steroid scalp application, but it is far better to have both oral and topical antibiotics. Essential oils will help you alot until you get these antibiotics that you need to kill this.

  • @Testallthings You are correct. it looks like this may be the way to go.

  • Jojoba oil. Antibiotics... Buzz or shave your head.

  • @Fladavenue Thanks. I actually shaved my head shortly after these pictures were taken. That trip to the barber was embarrassing to say the least. As it turned out, I had quite a few more than I first thought; and they were bleeding again because of the haircut. Anyway, I took an antibiotic of a sinus infection, and it seemed to help reduce these things along with the itching. But there are still some holdouts!

  • read up on cold pressed extra virgin coconut oil...

  • @jackthecrippler Thank you for the info.

  • @jsalazarjr hey did the cold pressed extra virgin coconut oil work?

  • Grease prob every three days... it will work... try it and get back to me... it cures it..

  • @jackthecrippler What kind of grease?

  • @jackthecrippler Is that what it's called "Grease prob"?

  • I had this.. the thing i did that really works is (cold pressed extra virgin coconut oil) grease your scalp and replace and keep your scalp and hair moisturized... i gaurantee results by the 7th day.. and they stay out as long as u use this.. get it at a healthfood store or gnc or order online.. I stand behind this 200percent!

  • @jackthecrippler Thanks for the advice. I will look into this.

  • Ouch, Jsal; as one who suffers scalp maladies myself, I'm crestfallen to read of your plight. You say you've been to the doctor; has he(or any of them)provided a specific diagnosis? Could be, a specialist is required. In the meantime, give Tea Tree Shampoo a whirl. It's provided great relief for me personally.

  • @pukeachu I did have a dermatologist look at it. However, the Rx he gave me did not help get rid of it.

  • He provided a shampoo or oral meds of some kind?

  • A word on derms.... I've had my share of return visits and not-so-great practicioners as well. Keep at it; miscommunications happen between patient&doctor, and worse case scenario, there are some truly skillful operators out there who can get you healthy. Diagnosing yourself is a recipe for continuing heart(or as the case may be, head)ache, believe me.

  • @jsalazarjr Use erythromicin 2% GEL

  • @pukeachu tea tree shampoo made mine 10X worse.

  • @jackthecrippler I have this too are you supposed to put the oil on your head daily? and do you wash it out right after greasing the scalp with it?

  • Yes it looks like scalp folliculitis...I have the same thing on my scalp and it's very painful and itchy. My doctor prescribed Doxycycline which treats it however once u stop taking it...it will come back. He/she may also prescribe Nizoral shampoo...hope this helps some.

  • @asad15146 Thank you for the comment. I will check with my doctor on this.

  • @asad15146 Same here! I was prescribed Doxycycline, which I stopped taking because I was warned that extended use could damage my liver. Didn't want anything else but alcohol consumption destroying my liver. ;-) I was also prescribed Nizoral shampoo. That didn't work worth a damn! Lucky Tiger Ointment did the trick for me. I just apply it whenever I start getting that itchy feeling and that takes care of it. Hope this helps.
