I don't think the Japanese openings were as upbeat as these with techno sounds. My favourite Japanese one with a faster tempo is Fruits Candy :D Tsubasa Chronicles (with Syaoran as the real main lead this time) has better music.

@summertwinkle It was either this one, or No Nagging that was used as the opening for the UK Cardcaptors (aired on CITV as the episodes seemed to be redone without as much chopping/editing, Nickelodeon however used the US theme and also cut and mashed episodes together).
