War plays a big part throughout history, and alot of history is written only by those on the winning side. Take the holocaust. Yes, some deny it took place at all. Many others say the 6 million figure is a gross exaggeration The % of Jews in the final figure is disputed, since the Nazis also killed gypsies, Slavs, the handicapped, etc. And how much did the Allies really know?
