Danke.. Sind einige meiner ersten Versuche. Die Splines ab 2:00 min habe ich mit C4D eingefügt. Vorher mein Zimmer gefilmt und dann mit Motion Tracker (Icarus) getrackt - > 3D Camera in C4D importiert. Bissle mit masken und Lensflare in After Effects FERTIG

You animate in one program and edit in another. In this case, he animated in Cinema4D and edited in After Effects.

how does he do the trick at 1:38? how does he get the annimation to move with the camera?

He used a program called Bonjou. What it does is it tracks the areas chosen using points that the program will take a virtual snapshot of, and then on the next frame, try to find the closest looking thing to it and so on until the entire video is motion-tracked. Afterwords, I'm not sure if it exports a file that has the information to move the camera in unison to the object in your 3D program; but I'm guessing that's what it does.

Read this Second..

What you do is Color Key out the barrel then duplicate that frame, on the duplicated frame Invert the filter. Now you have two videos, one with the barrel only and one with the wall only and a blank spot where the barrel was. Put these two on the timeline with the wall on video track 1, and the barrel on video track 3. Now you have video track two available and whatever you put there will appear in Front of the wall and Behind the barrel.Like making a sandwich!

FOR LEAFLENT: if you want to put an effect or anything "Between" something in original footage you do this:

The easiest way ( not frame by frame) is if one of the original elements ( foreground or Backround, not the inbetween effect) has a distinctive color like lets say a BLUE BARREL in front of a brick wall in an alley and the effect you want is to put a gunman hiding between the BARREL and the WALL.....

Hello,I would just ask about the growing thingy.

I just noticed that the thing passed behind the steels in the end of its clip while the main video is serving as your background. Isn't the 3d thingy supposed to be in front of your entire video? I really don't have an idea how to make 3d things pass behind objects of the original clips. Please help me if you don't mind.

hey. yeah actually the growing thing would be a top layer on my original footage but it wouldt look right as you can see. the growing things must grow behind the steels. but i just put the videos together in after effects. first the original footage then the growing animation and then again the originalk footage but mask out the steels so only the steels cover the growing animation ;) and it looks like the growing ist behind it. hope i could help.

yes you have to trace the mask frame by frame. but in my case it was not that bad coz there are only 2 sec to trace. another method you could use: use the tracking tool to track the steel. i think it must work as well but i havnt used it yet so i cant tell you ;)

yes i used a sweep nurb object and put a spline under it and a circle spline so it creates these splines growing. u can use parameters in the nurb object to animate this.. sorry for my english

yeh. but its not done with after effects. i used a programm to track a footage and the program creates from this data a virtual camera which u can import in a 3d program. then u can put everything u want in the video and it moves perfectly to the camera movement. aski me if u need help
