i love the Beatles, and they were all great musicians/composers/lyricists/­etc but as far a singing goes, they don't hold a candle to the ATU cast. The Beatles are kind of more talk singing and could never be in a choir singing choral music, the ATU cast all have the ability to talk sing, and and sing chorally. If nobody knew who the ATU cast and The Beatles were, and and we just had to compare quality of voice most people would go with the ATU cast

No they wouldn't. Lennon voice has much more character and plainly sounds much better than the other weak vocal on this recording. The vocals on the ATU sound track lack something, namely the spirit of originality that most Beatle records demonstrate. IMO the ATU treatment of Beatles songs is not bad but could be easily achieved by any professional group of singers. have a look at this for a great but technically unconventional vocal.
