I went on vacation and one of the soldiers was in the hotel and tried to buy a $2 keychain and didn't have the money (she was in her uniform). I bought it for her and she seemed so surprised. If people just did little things like this, I'm sure that they would feel worthwhile. I'm not saying that's why they go or anything like that, but she shouldn't have been surprised.

Weather we agree with the wars or not they are doing a job that protects us and our rights which most people that campaign wouldnt do!! The troops deserve so much more than they get, every time they step on to the plane or ship they know they may never see home again!! My dad is in the Army National Guard, and I can't believe that you would say "fuck the troops". You will never know what it is like to miss your daughter's graduation, or her birthday party, or the birth of a son. You can be against the war and still support the troops. Next time you walk out of your house, look around you and see that there aren't troops on every street corner, or that you can say whatever you want. The troops ensure that you have freedom. Don't ever take advantage of it.
