  • @TheGibbySG But this pedal has a chili on it..

  • ok you demostrated it with your super charged pedal - this sounds as a must buy ;-)

  • Is it great as a solo booster as well? you know with a already "more drived" sound

  • after hearing the same chords over and over i had to break away ..

.what guitar is this ? a tele?

  • No, the pedal will not make it louder. If your amp is at max volume, adding more signal is just going to push the tubes harder, giving more overdrive. If the amp is super quiet, it will make it louder, but once you push it past its headroom, it's not going to do anything. For the record, overdrives and clean boosts do NOT increase signal level, and will not "boost" a solo above line volume.

No pedal is going to make 5 watts into 30 watts.

  • this pedal looks so kewl =)

  • Is that useful if I have a 5w tube amp and just want to make it louder for a gig?

  • Yes indeed. This will boost your amp.

  • but it can't actually make your amp louder... once your amp is at max volume putting this in front will only make it more overdriven.

  • @ToneFactor

Incorrect, it will not boost your AMP, it will boost the SIGNAL going in, so if you're running into a clean channel on a tube amp you might end up with some undesired drive

  • Hey, i'm the first who see and comment this clip.

I'm in love with the Chili Picoso. For me its a "must have". Juicy, fat tone.
