"Johnny Angel" was sung on the 1962 "Donna Reed Show" episode "Donna's Primadonna." The song was so popular that they forced Shelley Fabares to make a full album and then they released it--the song making Fabares a star in the music industry as well. Paul Petersen also sung a song to Carl Betz ("My Dad") that was a hit song too. Both of the "Stone" children had hit albums around this time. However, neither's music career went that far after a couple years. Still an awesome song!

Shelley is still a beauty, I enjoyed watching her on "Coach". I can listen to Johnny Angel anytime and it still takes me back to that "magic" time so long ago.

I found it on another website. Unfortunately, some agancy claimed it as copyrighted material and removed it. I was able to get the video back on here by replacing the sound with a 'generic' track that they offer for use. (None are that good, though)

You Tube has got to be the most worthless piece-of-crap application I've ever used. I had 17 videos on here, most with copyrighted material, and they kept sending me notices and deleting my videos. So I would upload them again and they'd start the whole thing over again. Finally .... I deleted all of them myself, told them in a complaint to go get screwed and don't use them anymore.

Try Vimeo......... much better application all around. And they don't care about copyrights.

Sure glad I downloaded this video with the original soundtrack on my computer before YOU TUBE pulled it. I remember seeing it on TV back in 1962. Notice how the backup singers were instructed to make minimum eye contact with the camera so all viewer eyes would be on Fabares. I hope Shelley has a copy!
