@SeifCham You can now arrange which of your GPUs you want to address to physics in game and which one to handle pure rendering. I recommend you to assign both cards to do both tasks.

possibly a stupid question, but if i have 3 GTX580's running in SLI, and disable SLI, will that cut the power to two of them, or just leave them idle; as you can imagine all 3 has a tremendous effect on the overall power draw, and when i'm not gaming i just want one powered...

@pryogene Specifically if it's gonna "cut" the power to them I cannot say but it will for sure be a definate less power demand as they won't be processing data. But I would dare to say yes to that answer.

If i had 2 gtx 295 in quad SLI but if I turned off sli, with two cards still inside the comupter, would it crash

Nope it would not. You would save alot of power though which is a good thing.

Yeah well some games mostly older games doesnt support SLI and tend to perform worse when SLI is activated. But newer drivers sometimes plug those faulty holes.

you have to enable them though nvidia control panel. download software drivers from nvidia website

I dunno what your problem is. You never told me. But I guess you also cant view the Enable/Disable SLI. From what you said in your specs you only mentioned that you have 1 GPU.

How much memory ram do you have? It could be that the RAM needs some of your graphics RAM. But that's very rare cause it often happens on the other way around. If so check to see where bought the GPU.

i don't think so, cayse when you first boot up your system it will say "You have an SLI capable system". But try and see

Ok, i read some of the other comments and just to get this straight. The only way it will give me the option to enable sli is if u have two graphic's card's. is that right?

Yeah it won't let you click in the option if you don't have dual graphics cards, I don't quite remember but I think it wont be possible to click it. It will be "grey marked"

Yes do that. Cause it should be there in the nVidia controlpanel.

Yeah you need more than one card. And 9600GT doesnt fill the Crysis requirements. Sorry

Try to enabled advanced option on for the nVidia control panel. If that wont work then install new driver
