@JDLimerick It's 21 foot, thought of the Keltec at a time ( well it was actually a Volac as they were making them....before Keltec even I think ).....but you need room to work them & have to handle them after it to stack, so may as well use a trailer.....Keltec's not cheap either.
@maxxum1184 ya suppose, theyre a good way to get bales off the field quick away from those devil crows, went into last field of the day with 70 bales to draw, every bale was attacked, on days like that the keltrans looks a better option to keep up with the baler
@endamc79 Was the 10th of May last year, but that was early for us...in around the 20th would be more the usual....tho some years it's June...baler is always a week or so behind the pit men.
@maxxum1184 theres good growth this year compared to last year so i'd say you'll be May, we'll be June ourselves here as fert went out during last week.
very nice :) 6930 looking good,do you ever find that with the tls the headlights are very high? the headlights are bright on all deeres but with tls there high i think, notice'd on the 6330 as every second car puts the lights up on me when its dark, wouldnt be long annoying a man,i just put on all the worklights and light up the car and they soon dip!
@aaron7610man Not so with mine....actually I'd say the dip is a bit low on mine....tho pigpen says he gets a few flashes.
Mine came into the dealers with the wrong tyres on for me......maybe the lights would be high if she still had them tyres on....I don't know....they don't flash me for long...4 on the roof & 4 on the beltline soon changes their mind....would say the MX has the best headlights of the three.
@maxxum1184 i would say that,i do the very same, fun for a while but then it would annoy you after 5 or 6 cars.never drove an mx at all never mind at night so i wouldnt know, nice tractor all the same.alot better than the mc cormick
@ncossie No chance on that, rather the trailer any day....that bit with the 2 lifters is a tight spot....too small for the big mower even.....that's why it ain't cut very tidy....usually park the trailer out on the road & run in & out with the merlo, but as it was light I used 2 lifters......could count on 1 hand the times I use a lifter in a year....
could do with 2 double bale carriers. we have a 7840 that does ours.

You've got an art for filming and farming. Great video. But how do you mount your camera in the cab?

Great vid as always. You should check out Read Agri Contracts on facebook, great pic of Valtra 202 with double lifters back & front.

you'll be shortly getting your camera ready for silage 2011, when do you think the first bit of grass will be cut up your way?

@maxxum1184 There's a few round here that run about the roads with the beltline lit as well as the headlights for no good reason......
