I had the same 30" Chambered mufflers on my 1970 Chevy truck with a 396 Big Block! with it backed up to my house in the driveway I reved it and broke the side windows on the house!!!!

why would you stroke a 305? thats about usless, how much more power did it get? 215 hp? you should have just got a stock 350.

Thanks for the comment. I got the idea from a hotrod mag artical.The stock 305 put out 146 Hp @4000 RPM and 232 FT.LBS @2400 Not bad for 8.6:1 Compression. Now with the stroked 305 (336 CID) With reworked heads heads, headers, KB Hypereutecic pistons 10.0:1compression,Comp cam Extream Energy bumpstick,Aluminum intake,Holley carb,50,000 volt H.E.I. ECT... You get the idea, 361.25Hp@5400RPM/391FT.LBS@450­0RPM Through a Th400 To the ground.And I can still say its just a 305! Thats 1.07Hp Per CDI

whats with the oil pressure gage ,its pegged out to the max

High volume oil pump runs about 70 P.S.I. like to keep things oiled above 6500 RPM

i think quasitraction is correct,even if the high volume oil pump is running at 70PSI,the gage reads to 60PSI,so it should be just slitely past  the 60PSI mark ,not maxed out as shown on the gage.

Its a stroked 305! Balanced Forged steel crank, forged rods, hypereutectic pistions, head work ect...with a mild comp cam, headers and Turbo Tube Chambered Mufflers ran out like side pipes and Th400 Nothing really.
