sadly a childhood friend of mine seems to be comfortable in prison. he was sent in at 16 and won't be out until he 35-40

exactly, i felt for it one time. i helped my homeboy get out of prison and that bitch ass ni&&a betrayed me and tried to get me behind bars. ion even trust what mofos say behind bars anymore. ion take me serious when they be talking that ish i be like whatever

I have a friend that is locked up too..its frustrating to me how he plans these get rich kick schemes for when he gets out and thats the same shit that got him in there..But yea dont pay attention to what they say behind bars, focus on YOU and do YOU...because theyll say anything to you..but im glad to see you staying out of trouble though..:)

tmot, I work in a prison. You ain't lyin'. It's as nasty as y'all want it to be and once the loop starts you either cut the loop or fall in love with it. Malcolm X said that prison is the next best thing to college for the man that wants to change -- after doing a little time. Make your choice -- that's part of the gospel you gots to preach.

It is true that all races go to prison but the question arises why r blacks 12% of the population but 50% of the incarcerated? Are u n agreement that blacks must be criminals by nature? Again,is it natural 4 us 2 indulge in crimes against society ? If it is natural then u should take this page down,however if not the question arises why do we make the choice? Some choose cause it is the risk they took trying to feed a family. Some like myself were framed having no choice. First of all I am not a Dude,whatever that is. Do I ever refer 2 u as dude? Since we know such behavior is not natural & it is by choice the question arises why did the 50% black inmates make that choice? Some never learn unlike u they rotate in & out ever since being a child. I never called nobody stupid u can only reason within the limits of our understanding. My math skills r poor so when I watched Eistien's biography it was mind boggling. 50% is a large % why is this,why so many make choice?

You said it all: "You're gonna be somebody's bitch." BOTTOM LINE: YOU'RE GONNA BE UNDER SOMEONE'S LAW, SOMEWHERE. Many of these guys think it's a "badge of honor" or proof of Blackness, manhood, or being down or emotional/mental problems and ultimately rebellion that puts them in prison. But they don't seem to realize you're gonna live under authority there,also, in a MUCH WORSE PLACE.

If only it were that simple, you mention Seti in your video, you should check out his video titled " our elders have failed us" if you haven't already. We are dealing with a vicious cycle that cannot be broken with nightmarish accounts of prison life. In African societies, elders play an important role in the lives of youth. They have a certain moral authority and provide children or " young bloods" as someone said with spiritual and moral direction. Your discourses are very inspirational

While your story is tragic,that was not the point of the video (that you asked me to do). There have been many Men (Black and White) that have been in the system and some executed, who were innocent. The point of this video is to tell young men that PRISON is for FOOLS.

Dont worry about prisons growing in size to much because Americans are starting to arm themselves in great numbers, records have been broke in legal gun sales and guess what? those guns are for use against the violent criminals. hell some guy in Texas shotgunned to criminals and they did not end up in prison. Crime is starting to have lead pay days. More Castle laws, more trained women who use guns.not looking to good for future criminals.Good Video, tell them the truth.
