@l33tn0bl3 You just need to make your own judgement on which one you should use. If not alot of damage is going out use Holy Light. Try not to use it on your beaconed target but rather on someone else who needs heals since Holy Light heals transfer 100% to your beaconed target. If a tank or someone needs a large heal use Divine Light instead. You won't be able to completly spam just Divine light during a raid encounter without going Out of Mana though.
@jurr04 thx..... 4.3 pallys are boss but i can pass up my dk that can solo half a dungeon boss with just the new dungeon and jp gear ^^ thx again and great guide recommend it too all my pally healing friends
Great vid, this is exactly what I do as a holy pally (Kontrak - US Sargeras) I looked up a h pally vid to see if I could get some new tips, and this is a great vid for Holy pally's coming off as a holy pally myself.
@edathite2 In many raids I've done, the average Word of Glory heal I put out (average of 2 holy power charges overall) is around 14k. The average total healing done by Light of Dawn is somewhere in the 23k range making in more efficient overall. Remember, Light of Dawn also gives the mastery bubble effect to all targets, and all healing done to others is also transfered to your beaconed target. It takes some practice to use LoD but it is far worth using in raids.
@pickle738 Haste is just better for more holy radiance ticks as well as faster casting on our heals. Having some crit is good to keep our conviction talent up but we get that from stacking intellect and we get 5% crit from raid buffs so we should't need to reforge or gem for it.

@GthroughMa I guess it depends on preference and also what raid content you are doing (Either 10 or 25 man.) In 10 man you would favor WoG more for sure. In 25 man when people are stacked and raid wide aoe damage is going on, LoD usually is a better option to use since those heals will transfer to your beacon anyways.
I have an 82 pallie that is a tank and really wanting to go healing but in my 6 years playing healing has been a field that has been untouchable for me. I really dont know where to begin but this is a great start. its time to drop the ret bullshit and pick up a skill that is worth having. Your video has inspired me to take a new step. I don't even use Lod personally i find it very pointless as a tank heal, i never have found the need for it i use Wog a lot but that's just me
