Do you need a scientific article reference to tell you not to blow out your Achilles? I know countless people who have been hurt doing single leg depth jumps. Depth jumps are only for advanced athletes with a high training age- and even then, there is no reason for single leg depth jumps!
countless people eh? must be a popular exercise where you are from.
actually some sort of objective reference would be nice. thanks (btw, i can already tell you are the youtube troll type so from this point on i will refuse to feed you)
There is NO REASON to do single leg box jumps! They are dangerous- just blow out your achilles tendon and find out. Avoid these at all costs! Two footed only.
I don't really use this exercise much anymore, although it, and single leg hurdle hops and bounding were integral parts of my season where I improved my best high jump by 9cm. Do you have references to support your claim?
@jumpscoach214 man, dont listen to them, you CAN blow your achilles tendon yeah.... IF tour base strength is low and try to do explosive and reactive exercises of course.... your body seems to be fine though!!!
