Whitney and Walker for picks is a idiotic idea. While Walker is not a top 6 forward skill wise...he is a top two forward in leadership. My friend (is stick boy) says Walker is like the heart of the team. Everyone rallies around him. His intensity, workdrive, vision on the ice, feistyness, fire, and more.

Whitney is a wizard. Has remained one of the Hurricanes top scorers these few rough years. He is spectacular. Quick...quick...strong...a wizard. I don't know what more to say of these guys.

Sometimes Walker's style of play, the rough and feisty play can get us really stupid penalties, and it can lead to backbreaking goals, or pressure added on to tying the game, taking time away from offense by killing the penalties, etc.

I will admit that sometimes Walker really frustrates me. While I understand he is trying to create a spark or a jump, sometimes he will take a stupid penalty that will lead to a goal. I think that more often then not, he ends up helping the team out.

definatly one of the nicest goals of the entire NHL seasons... but rutherford had to do what had to be done, we're lacking behind our blue line. even though ward is an amazing goalie, he can't do everything by himself, sorry but Wesley was really old, we need younger fresher legs on defence.

They never came from Canada, they came from Hartford, CT, which, if you don't know, is in the USA. And as a matter of fact, every 'Canes fan I know, either plays the game, or understands the rules. Maybe you should come down here and see for yourself. The Hurricanes have some of the best fans in the NHL
