That, was amazing. I just got out of what I thought was the most amazing relationship I'd ever be in with what I thought was the absolute perfect female for me. The part about your conversation with god made me realize. My best friend's agony isn't worth some girl I'm dating. I'm just getting into poetry and everyone says I'm amazing and this is inspiration. In 2009, my brother Logan went through a hard time that this reminded me of. Only that was his senior year & I believe 4 or 5 of his close friends attempted/committed suicide. He's 21 now & he still struggles with depression & anger issues because of it. But now that he's home from the army & he's married, he's been doing better. I think I'll show this to him later. Maybe it will remind him that he's not alone. <3 You have an incredible talent.

That was deep. I had a friend that died when I was in high. One day I came school everyone was in tears. I couldnt understand why. Until I realized who they were talking about I just seem him the day before. Life was unreal that day. You never realize how you have been touched until the moment when all you can feel is the imprint left on your shirt not easily removed with a tug or shoulder shrug.

this is absolutely wonderful...loved it :) my niece (13) and nephew (11) were killed 8 yrs ago along with 3 of their friends by a drunk driver, and it wasbeyond hard for me to deal with. my niece && i were best friends and play mates...chilled every weekend, except that one because i wanted to be grown...so i felt it all. even the part about the questioning, i saw her with a bright smile with my nephew tuggin on her robe to hurry back to wherever they came from..so feelin this :)

My close friend was murdered by a bullet to the head when I was 12 years old. He was 16 at the time. Living in Miami all you see on the news is murder and young lives being lost due to ignorance and hatred. Just 2 days ago a 22 year old girl was killed in front of her son by her sister's ex--boyfriend who couldnt handle the break up. Its crazy. This poem really hit home for me. Thanx for sharing.

Beautiful. I had a cousin shot and killed at 19yrs old just a couple years ago, so many people loved him - he died tryin to be a peace maker in a physical fight with another cousin of mine. That other cousin died 2 yrs later - he was stabbed to death. I know what it feels like to be victimized . May God Bless You and those that mourn the loss of your two precious friends.
