He served as the 53rd mayor of Cleveland, Ohio from 1977 to 1979, a tumultuous term in which he survived a recall election and allowed the city to default. He portrays himself as a "man of the people" who shows up at every plant closing for a photo op, then you never hear from him, on the subject again. DON'T WASTE YOUR VOTE ON KUCINICH!

Cleveland's default was DK standing up to economic blackmail by bank + electric util. There's a handful of legislators in office who have some good ideas and don't follow blindly along with the "plan". He Another one to look at is Rep. Neal Kurk from New Hampshire.
Kucinich is just too progressive and advanced for our sad little country. He is the only truly forward-thinking candidate out there right now.
