  • 666 like it.

  • this band is what inspired justin bieber to make something of himself

  • now this is one of their more faster paced songs. the amount of guitar notes hit actually went into the double digits.

  • Comment removed

  • i like it when they sing "baby baby baby oh!"

  • why is Justin Bieber on the sidebar? o-o.. >_>

  • @Ebolish1992 because he's better than sunn o)))

  • Sound like satanic shit...and I am not even western christian.

  • sweet shit...took me a while toaccept this shoegazing cross between Thergothon and Sleep, but now I know what to look up in case I find a vial of drugs in the street...

  • This song always makes me think of the "alien" saga in its atmosphere with theses chiling women voices.

  • I was stoned as fuck the other day and was feeling all cheerful and happy, then I put this song on my stereo at a mindblowing volume and suddenly felt terribly sick and threw up like hell. I love these guys.

  • o))) ce son de guitarre... bandant!

  • Hello all. I'm 45. These guys have nothing to apologise about at all.Voivod were close. The o) rule. J.

  • These guys have the best drummer in all of metal

  • anyone thinking sunn isn't metal is wrong. sunn is definately metal

  • THIS SONG MAKES ME WANT TO KNIT THE FUCK OUT OF A SWEATER

  • @tralaw1212 Don't you mean Robe?

  • I tried really hard to get into this music, but i cant seem to. Is this a band that requires non sobriety to appreciate?

  • @Cinebite I'm in the same boat as you, as I really appreciate a lot of the avant garde branches of music IE motW, idiot flesh, what's he building in there?, john zorn, etc.

...I'm pretty sure, after some research, that a lot of the doom/sludge/stoner/drone metal requires either some mary jane/form of altered state, or very particular ears. I can appreciate most of the aforementioned genres, but drone metal still escapes me as-of-yet.

  • @Cinebite It requires an appreciation of the gigantic, fantastical aesthetic they are aiming for with the bass. Everything is slow and huge with this music. The gritty vocals are the musings of a dark wizard, it requires some imagination to get into the Sunn O))) world.

  • @Cinebite It takes time to appreciate. I used to hate Sunn, but now I fucking love them. Listening to Earth 2 by Earth helped me realize I love this genre. When you listen to this kind of music, it's not about the melody or the rhythm, but it's all about the sound. Some people might object this isn't music then — fine for me : let's call this auditive art. Because in the end it's all about the TEXTURE of the sound. The thick, sludgy texture of full force distorted Sunn amps.

  • @Cinebite I've been sober for 6 years and this is the kind of stuff i'm leaning more towards these days. and i am not a doom fan. though i also like Earthless

  • @Cinebite nah dude it's just not your cup of tea. just like i'm sure you listen to stuff i don't dig. there's nothing wrong with it. it's just everyone has different taste.

  • I don't get it. I want too though but it reminds me of a Neurosis CD I once purchased and hated. This just isn't me. Have fun feeling "possessed" kids.

  • @BuddyMETAL1 Nah Neurosis is a really big band and it's not similar to sunn O))) :P

  • @BuddyMETAL1 Not all of us are like that. I just use it as background music in my basement while I torture my gagged up ex girlfriends and friends and masturbate furiously onto their faces/inside them. But this music isn't for everyone and I can acknowledge that. :D

  • this is easy to masturbate to.

  • @Megadedly go somewhere else you plebianistic troll. We don't need you here.

  • Gay.

  • @Megadedly Yes, I am sure this recording of a song prefers to find sexual and emotional partners in other "male" recordings, you fucking dingus.

  • @Armageddunswings Oh wow, insightful.

  • @Armageddunswings You watch Tim and Eric, and listen to this. I love you. xD

  • 1:10 SILENT SHIT

  • @Coroner308903 you welcome, glad that i was useful :)

  • @UndeadUtahJB that's the whole point

  • Amazing ending!

  • Music to summon spirits by.

  • @metalquotationmarks seems like it's and it's damn long title

  • Is anyone else trying to memorize the full title?

    Just me?

    Okay...

  • wtf is happening

  • I love metal with all my fucking heart but drone is the one subgenre that I just don't understand

  • @TkrB It's a question of taste. Personally, the slower it is, the more I like metal.

  • @TkrB That's the beauty of it. Drone is more than just tunes, it's an atmosphere. It enhances it. An example would be one time when I was coming back from a party. Walking the streets alone with Sunn O)))'s "Bathory Erszebet" in my ears. Mist everywhere, still a little drunk and still plenty high. It was absolutely surreal. It seemed like that particular piece had been written solely for the purpose of me hearing it at that moment. I realise how pretentious this sounds, trust me.

  • people just dont understand. There's a reason why there is more than one style of music. I didnt think everyone liked the nazi theme song either.....so stop hating on this, if you dont like it, go listen to matisyahoo or /e the fuck his name is

  • "Hey guys! You need to listen to this song, its called Megszen..e.. ahh never mind."

  • ur all special..u all getz likes =D

  • 3:48 am I the only one that thinks Pinocchio?

  • "megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért" is the longest hungarian word :D

and I can't translate it to english... :D

  • @Khromenin it's "due to your continuous pretending to be indesecratable"

  • @Khromenin szégyeld magad bazdmeg, neither can i :D

  • BWWWWOOOO))))))AAAAAAHHHHH

  • Oh man I think someone forgot to plug in the rest of the intruments.

  • i play ecco the dolphin to this

  • Mom: Hey, that's a strange song your'e listening to. What is it called?

Me: It's the new Sunn O track, Big Church (megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért). Its awesome!

    Mom: What the Fu....

  • Is this bad safe to listen to on normal earphones? Do they still sound good? And finaly will my brain explode if i do?

  • @carbine125 Still fine to listen to through headphones. A lot of power will be lost but if your headphones are good enough you'll still be able to enjoy it.

  • MY FAVOURITE SONG AT KARAOKE!!!

    :P

  • Music to end the world by.

  • don´t know what i am listening, sounds wierd, but it´s realy cool ^^ \m/

  • Since today, I'm now a proud owner of this album! Can't believe I found it in stores

  • @RPGoof wow you actually found music like this in a store. Well if it was record shop that sells this kinda stuff then not so surprisingly but if it was a place like FYE then that's crazy. lol

  • It's not really that heavy it just sounds it cuz it's slllllooooowwer listen to some kind of monster after this it's not really that different

  • Abadon all hope ye who listens this!

  • but the real question is, will it blend?

  • @DarkAngelEU this made my fucking day man! cheers!

  • The first time I listened to this song, was on a cold winter afternoon. As I turned it on, I started to fall asleep on my bed, when I opened my eyes I saw dark black clouds silhouetted against a dark orange sky out the window... And this music was blaring. I could've sworn the Grimm Reaper was coming to take me away!

  • This reminds me of Darkspace. Only 9000 times slower.

  • this is my favourite song to do at karaoke!

  • shits fucking intense!

  • Now the word "megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért" which is the song title is a Hungarian grammar term means "'due to your continuous pretending to be indesecratable'" This word contains mass of inflexions, prefix, suffix, etc. The core of the word is 'szent', meaning "saint."

  • @MSpawn986

    Hungarian scrabble must be intense

  • @metalquotationmarks It is... :DD

  • @MSpawn986 Wow... that is awesome

  • its almost necasarry for music to be utterly ridiculously intense to bare such a name

  • Nice name :P

  • This song is freaky

  • i really think this music is meant to mess with the areas of ones physce.. it suppose to give u that bad feeling.. that alomst scared feeling...

  • @iloveredsox7020 Thank you! Finally someone realizes it. When they play live apparently the sound pressure is so high that people have a hard time breathing.

  • @TheMotorCity2011 oh i wouldn't doubt it... this is so diffrent and unique... but dam.. i can feel something change in my chest and lungs as soon as i hear this song start.. lol..but thats why they rule in this genere.

  • I had to give these top comments a "thumbs up", no need to say anything more about this song.

  • this reminds me of E5150 by Black Sabbath.

  • It sounds like an old deep freezer or an old soda pop machine.

  • Fridge solo GO!

  • I said it before and ill said it again: This Band+Silent Hill= New Pants.

  • Very good drone ambient.

  • @mfsjreload I listen to Bee Gees and I still dig this stuff.. so stop being a stupid prejudiced freak

  • @robpdb prejudiced freak? LOL

I'm just parodying a band not saying it is bad, if you get offended go cry to your mom

  • @HellectivicaCult

At least the antacid would keep your reflux from giving you trouble.

  • so this actually scares me...

  • man it almost beat PNEUMONOULTRAMICROSCOPICSILICOVOLCANOCONIOSIS ...

  • how do you even pronounce megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért?

  • @KrakenKingKong I pronounce it "bob"

  • @KrakenKingKong learn Flemish?

  • @KrakenKingKong I think It's like the longest hungarian word. You can hear the pronounce at the beginning of the song

  • @IvexTheTerrible True, second place: elkáposztásítottalanítottátok.

  • I set my iPod to wake me up to this song one day and I was convinced that I was possessed for 15 minutes.

  • attila on vocals?

  • i almost died listening to this.

  • oh shit !

  • That was amazing!

  • Odd music...kind of scary, lol...but I love it!

  • @perrottafamily1 It's not music, it's an experince

  • @stewy1897 True.

  • @stewy1897 you could say that. i still listen to Sunn O))) for good old enjoyment though, and when im not tierd i actually pay attention to the song. but idk, i love it what ever it is.

  • @o0LanternLight0o We can agree on one thing: it is amazing

  • @stewy1897 This is surly a fact. Sunn O))) is fantastic. ….BRRRRRRUGGHHHHHHH BRRRRRUGHHHHHHHHHHHH.

  • BWOOM!

  • I'm new to Sunn O))), what album should I start with?

  • @1234dh56 I'd recommend you listen to EARTH, their early stuff is what inspired Sunn 0))). Sunn even have a song named after the founding member of Earth. Check out the album 'Earth 2'.. And 'Phase 3'.

  • @1234dh56 For me this kind of music is a thing you should study backwards - later albums=more accessible - so start with "Monoliths...", "Black One" and then, when you're into it, go back to early stuff and finish with "Earth 2".

  • @1234dh56 I would recommend listening to Black One. It's my favorite by them. M&D is easily their most accessible album, so maybe you should listen to that first if you aren't big on drone already. In addition, I would recommend getting the album Amplifier Worship, by Boris, as well as the albums Earth 2 and Phase 3 by Earth. You might also like the album Pilgramage, by Om, but that's more on the doom-stoner side of drone, as opposed to the dark themes that Sunn O))) employs.

  • These Guys Dont Have Moshpits More Of Sunnpits

  • @Cannibalthrone LOL. I'm trying to imagine what a sunnpit is like.

  • Great band, awful name.

  • @HeavyIronMetalMaiden they have a better name than the band you pay homage to with your youtube name

  • @LnBguitars I actually hate iron maiden for the most part, i just liked them when i made this name. So, fuck off.

  • @HeavyIronMetalMaiden im not the one trolling dick , you fuck off

  • @LnBguitars I'm not trolling either, asshat. Fuck you bitch

  • @HeavyIronMetalMaiden Who the fuck hates Iron Maiden? Classic metal at its best.

  • @EddieWyatt1 Doubt it they dont seem the type to have pits, Ive never been to a Sunn 0))) gig but if you watch the live video of the playing in a Big Church everyone is stood around trying to make sense of whats going on, and there is a video of some dudes experience.

  • Brilliant example of metal drumming

  • @TyeDyeNinja42 I'm guessing you've copied and pasted that comment on every Sunn O))) video... Because there is a lot more than brrrrrrrr going on in this particular song. Maybe in one of the other ones like CandleGoat or something... But this one has more choir and random background noises haha.

  • If there is a "brown note", Sunn 0)) has probably already played it.

  • The intro makes me feel like I'm suffocating haha whoa!

  • megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért What does this mean ? *-*

  • @raven66614 It's the lyrics.

  • @raven66614 "megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért" from wiki means "'due to your continuous pretending to be indesecratable"

  • This song captivates my nipples.

  • LOL at all the comments about me having sex with the CD. As I said it was my EX. The reason why she is an ex must now appear obvious to you...

  • i bet there's an asian out there who actually can dance to this

  • @diooib I can dance to this

  • @diooib Nope, there isn't. The japanese killed all the asian whales...

  • @diooib uhh... it's pronounced AZN.... get it right, get it tight.

  • What does the title mean?

  • @JSKlunk

"This is one of the longest words in Hungarian, it contains 44 letters and the reason why it is famous is not really because of its meaning, but because it shows how you can play with the Hungarian language"

    and

"The meaning of this word is also kind of cool, because it's about consecration and deconsecration, and that someone is acting like he would be not the one who could be deconsecrated, and he got this thing as a consequence."

  • Now this is some awesome shit. I love it <3

  • i like the part where it goes BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • @TyeDyeNinja42 бджжжжжжжжжжжжжжжжжжжжжжжж

  • This is just fuckin other dimensional, its like a portal to the other side.

  • whoa, try listening to this stoned..

  • im not even going to try to pronounce that...

  • I can't believe how hard this suck! Well, just my opinion!

  • mindig azon gondolkodok h mér nem inkább a za szám címe hogy : legeslegmegszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért ::D

  • I'm into punk, ska, reggae, hardcore, blues, folk, and classic rock. Classic metal is about as "metal" as I get. But this stuff is insanely captivating... Atmospheric and tasteful. Not mindless wankery like in a lot of modern metal styles.

  • Sunn is really about the live show. The records are kinda like teasers for seeing them live, as was the original intention of recorded music anyway. :P

  • if I had to play this live on guitar, I'd just forget how to play it halfway through..

  • Lol at dronecore.. These breakdowns are so slow and br00t4l you can't even tell they're breakdowns, yo. Jesus Christ give me a break

  • i can see why people like this...

but fucking hell it bores the shit out me. imagine standing on stage, strumming the guitar once every 10 minutes

  • Needs more cowbell.

  • @monkeymagoo47 Nigga please.

  • its over before it starts, brilliant song

  • LIKE A REFRIGERATOR FROM HELL

  • Sunn o))) are fucking amazing

  • you should sell pickles at the mall rather than play music

  • pointless

  • hey man i respect this band and all but its just occasional strumming of a guitar with inaudible drums and vocals that arent even really vocals. im sorry but i just dont like it.

  • What's the point of this?

Where in gods name is the music in this?

God help current day society if this is what we're coming to.

  • @MattDeadDrop what, to deep for you?

    BBBBBBBBBBBBBBWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO))))))))))))))))))))))MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

  • @MattDeadDrop yes, current day society is far better off with the shit that's popular right now

  • @Zlazuja You know, I don't care much for the popular shit. Yet the matter of fact that the popular shit has some tone, point, and rhythm makes it far better then this pointless and nauseating try-fecta of crap people call 'Drone Core'.

  • @MattDeadDrop

    Right on brother.

  • @Flealan

    Thank-you.

  • @MattDeadDrop lol who the fuck calls this dronecore?

  • @thychaos My friend calls it Fridgecore. Apparently it sounds like a fridge humming.

  • @wombat989 your friends are fucking retarded. kids always feel the need to add "core" at the end of everything, even though this has NO hardcore in it whatsoever. they even call ICP horrorcore, even though theyre just shitty rap. tell those idiots its fucking drone/doom metal and to get their stupid "core" mentality the fuck outta here cause they obviously dont know shit about music.

  • @thychaos Hey mate, I've got an idea. CA
