Aw damn, they cut the episode that is suppose to be on this slot. This is not "Foreward Into The Past", it is "Capital Offense". On page one, it is written FITP, but still, no episode. Oh well, what does one expect for free? No problem.
Ha...Ha...Ha... Angel wishes he was Nick Knight. There has also never been a better repeating antagonist then Lacroix. These are the simple facts so you haters can all go suck on it and go running back to your sparkling, twilight vamp wannabes.
there was never anything better than this series. That guy is totally wrong, doesnt know a great series when he sees one...Prob still in his 20's most likely.
Whoever said this reminded them of Angel imo is wrong. This first episode of season 1 which is all I've watched didn't really do much to make me want to keep watching the show. I'll most likely watch one or two of the episodes of season 2 since it's all that's on here to see if there is anything that interests me enough to keep watching. Let's hope there's more to this show than what was shown in this episode.
I liked this series but I thought it had one of the worse endings in the history of television. I really didn't want to see Nick die but that the life of a vampire police officer. I thought the Jack the Ripper show was the best.
Well, in reply to your comment on Dark Shadows, I am not going to argue with you on individual taste and would be a fool to do so. As I love both theses series, and their credible sucessors(Angel, and Blade), on DS we can both agree that it was so unique that it could not be replicated, nor "reimaged" ( I think that-sad to say-Johnny Depp won't be able to pull it off either). A better candidate would have been(the seemingly ageless)Adrian Paul.
This was the first serious horror series since "Dark Shadows" and the inspiration for "Angel", though the latter stands alone on its own theme. Forever Knight itself had sprung from the pilot "Nick at Night", starring Nick Springfield. It was a good pilot as it captured the 80s' decadadent "chic" club atmosmosphere.
I don't know if I consider Dark Shadows serious -- at least after the first two seasons. I watched it but it got pretty campy towards the end. But I loved this show -- I hated the way it ended with everyone dead.
lacroix is a true character without him the show wouldn't be half as good.... though i've gotta give Skanky credit too ^_^

In my opinion its the best vampire tv show ever made. Moonlight was good but it didn't come close to Forever Night.

Amen, I love the way that it's also a pretty good police show as well as him being a Vampire.

Moonlight copied Forever Knight.
Angel also copied Forever Knight especially the first season.
Inspired by Dark Shadows with vampire with a conscience, but went further, he wanted redemption.
