what on earth did u do to make her hate u that much. you know i have a veiled chameleon and we treat him like a human baby like holding him at night when hes asleep and he has a blanket that he falls asleep under. we also have to hand water him with a water dropper. we've had him for almost 2 year and hes never hissed or tried to bite us once ur doing somthing wrong man

My friends chameleon loves being held.. (especially if you get it A LITTLE high). He gets dark and sad when people don't pay him enough attention. And it turns a really lime yellow green when we play bob marley!! :)

It's kinda cool how emotive chameleons are. I don't usually think of reptiles as showing any emotion, but this chameleon is obviously pissed.

I recently saw a show on Discovery Chanel about Chameleons and it said that they are stressed pretty much all day every day in the wild , it is there nature. It also had a part on captive Chameleons and there handling and said that a captive breed Chameleon recieves a tiny tiny amount of stress compared to a wild Chameleon. I figured from watching the show that peple who freak out about someone handling there captive Chameleon are way way overreacting as your captive one is living the high life

NO! my baby chameleon Camilla is a sweet heart not all are like this maybe when u first get them and u put them in the tank because of changing thier home stresses em a tiny bit but most of are sweet and nice

if they are brown, it probably means they are cold. You know how dark colors absorb heat better? They turn dark to absorb as much heat as they can. It can also mean they are upset. Their colors are kinda like a mood ring.
