Things have been changing..and changed a lot, a lot. If you are a member of a lower cast, you will have reservations in all schools and universities and in Govt. jobs. In my state a large portion of govt. jobs and higher post in many govt. departments are enjoyed by the so called lower cast members, mainly because of reservation.
