  • awesome awesome awesome

  • Thanks everyone for the compliments. The A-10 WartHog is completely scratchbuilt from 3 view pictures. I used 1/4 inch BlueCor Foam to construct the plane with an undercambered wing for more lift and drag to get this 6 foot machine fly indoors.

  • alright where did you get that and how much did it cost?

  • plans please!!!! looks really nice keep it up!!

  • did you buy that or did you make it because i would love to have one!

  • A nice piece of engineering! You should have a swarm of 4sites flying in formation around it.

  • More, More More!!!!!

    Excellent!

  • @chrisjdoran More, More More is coming!! Presently building a 12 foot wingspan monster, and of course to fly indoors,...I hope. Stay tuned!

  • nice

  • pretty slow speed!!

  • nice. it looks like it doesn't need much lift to get into the air.

  • Is this a kit or scratch built? Very nice scale landing there!

  • Nice!

  • @rcAllDayLong Glad you like the A-10. At the time it was the largest wingspan plane flying indoors at our club's facility. Next came a 7 foot B-36, then an 8 foot B-17, and now there is a 10 foot wingspan C-47 flying in this same building. Stay tuned to see what along next.

  • Man, go outside and fly.

  • woaw :D very nice i love it:)

wath for a nice slow flying:D

i want to know more about it,

do y have some plane to make it?

  • boy can he fly a plane, that was beautiful lol

  • Nice job mate!!!!!

  • WOW

    That is cool

    good on you!

    from New Zealand

  • where's the fart gun?

  • THAT'S AWESOME!!!!!!! :D Great idea! keep up the good work!

  • ive never seen an edf fly so stable at low speed like that they usually dive very impressive nice build

  • @bmwalp1na This A-10 weighs 4 pounds and is powered by two small 29gram electric motors driving GWS 7x3.5 props. Also the plane is built with under cambered wings for more lift and slower flight so that it can fly indoors.

  • @RaceEagle89

SCRATCH BUILT? UNDER CAMBERED WINGS? In these times where one call his self a Modeller only because he has enough money to buy a ready to fly model these terms are obscure. The only knowledge they have is internet shops. Nowdays one spend in a month what years ago we spended a whole year.

Keep up the nice job. When most of them will leave the hobby wiith the wallet empty you will continue full of satisfaction and knowledge.

  • @Giovanniram22

i think we can be a self modeler also if u have the money to buy rtf plane, personaly o have not this money but i prefer to make my plane because it give u lot more satisfaction when u know ur plane make ur hand can fly..

  • Pray tell, what is the All Up Weight with batteries?

How did you make the wings? With Ribs? If so how much do they weigh?

    Inspiration to scratch builders

  • awesome stuff! very nice and slow for an edf!

  • im jealous both of your plane and the flying area :P

  • WOW! Thanks for the compliment. We are very fortunate to have a flying site like this. I built this A-10 to show that you can fly a big plane indoors. Among our club members there are 10 planes with 4 foot to 8 foot wingspans that fly in this building.

  • I love that air plane I relly want one where did you get it frome?:)

  • Thanks for the compliment and posting to my video. I scratch-built the A-10 plane using BlueCor foam and a 3 view sketch I found on the internet.

  • @RaceEagle89 You scratch built it? It has remarkable detail!

  • @phantom60504 Thanks for your compliment. I took 3 view drawings and enlarged them to 6 foot wingspan.

  • omg

  • Cool I'm guessing it's made of foam, Flies really slow!

  • I used 1/4 inch BlueCor foam to build the A-10.

    Thanks for you compliment

  • fait par ordi

  • but is it made of titanium?

  • lights, put some lights.

  • nvm

  • the plane is not 6feet

  • When it says 6 feet, it means wingspan.

  • That's right. It is a 6 foot wingspan A-10

  • wow great quality video what is that like .30 fps?

  • You hanger rats! How can you guys build such fine models?

  • where did you buy the plane from

  • kk

    but awesome flying!!!

  • how many channels

    ????????????????????????????

  • It is 6 channels. 4 for the standard flight controls and 2 for fake bomb releases.

  • that's pretty friggin cool

  • Hey Guys, sorry about taking so long to reply. This A-10 is scratch-built from BlueCor Foam using 3 view pictures for plans. Just Google search A-10 and you will find 3 view drawings. Then you can enlarge the drawings to whatever size plane you want.

  • NICE plane. can i get plans or buy this thing at a hobby store???

  • RaceEagle89, where can these be purchaced??

  • LOL man its FLOATING!!

    awesome!!

  • Where did you buy this plane? I'm always finding just smaller ones.

  • it looks awesome,,,, but it seems like just a sin that it doesnt have a nose gun. can't you make one just for the extra detail?

  • Chin gun, technically. A Chain Gun chin gun. Heh, heh. I think they're still made by GE, anyway.

  • @SomeUselessGeek Oops -- it wasn't GE, it was McDonnell Douglas. Anyway, they're owned by Alliant Techsystems now. Whatever.

  • sorry I ment GWS not SMA....wooops...2many beers

  • that flies better tham my sma A10 on ly-po batteries ...welldone

  • Truly awesome...well done

  • Wow and wow. What an amazing build. It just floats so good.

  • The wing loading on this warthog must be next to nothing! title sugests six inches not siz foot - I was shocked and amazed :-) lol

  • pilot74sparki, Thanks for pointing out my error. It's a little larger than 6 inches. The A-10 is built out of 6mm bluecore foam, powered by 2 hyperion 2205-34 brushless motors with GWS 7-4.3 HD props, 2 Phoenix 10 speed controllers, and weighs 4 pounds.
