thats what the auto shotgun is FOR, dude. gauge spamming. anything is far away, just throw lead at it until it isnt a threat.

To elaborate, it's to aggro zombies so they'll run in closer where they can be shot easier. They take the little hit from the shell and come running, whereas, if I walked up to them, they'd be coming in bigger groups. Playing with bots in particular, they shoot aggroed zombies, whereas, they ignore ones that are idle.

Thus, aggro the zombies with 1 shell, reload it, done no need for a swap to pistols or a lengthy reload. Shotgun ammo is always bountiful.

exactly! see, you seem like a guy who at LEAST knows what hes talking about. its a crying shame you dont have this for 360. i poured my heart out on the 8th video about how much this campaign sucks. 32 failures on the finale...not fun.not fun.how many times did you restart?

I still haven't had the balls to try anything on expert by myself. I did the vast majority of death toll on expert with 3 other competent players (who still ended up blowing each other away at many times) On easier difficulties I always end up with upwards of 20 friendly fire incidents and each one of those would be an incap, or close to it, on expert, so I'm kind of hesitant. I think I'd stress myself out a lot, but we'll see. Maybe I'll try it soon.

Hah, what you picked up on there was me reacting to the screen tilting as a result of being shot by the bots and thinking a zombie had gotten in behind me.

Valve, in a moment of good common sense, decided not to let bots deal team damage. A smart move on their part as you can see a lot of instances where they hose me down.
