  • Enjoy the silence isn't for 80's?

  • well, seems like its the top 50 of a heavy metalist fan,,,,,,,,

  • fucking hell november rain. amazing.

  • Last song - about 9.00 - this is real voice. Adele is nobody.

  • What about Pearl Jam?!

  • Thumbs up if you're a 90's kid.

  • Most of these are just rock songs. Yawn. Where the hell is Mariah? Or Whitney?

  • @SimsLover2011 You have to remember this is ONE persons opinion. Not the opinion of EVERYONE. ;)

  • @BlushBrush81 Yes, one person's opinion with VERY bad taste.

  • @SimsLover2011 not in this video :D

  • This video proves RHCP were amazing in the 90's.

  • Good

  • Man. This makes me think that the decade from 2000 to 2010 HAD NOTHING.

80's and 90's had variety, iconic bands, good songs. 2000 din't do ANYTHING for the music world.

    How sad.

  • The friends theme tune!

  • it's hard for me to accept the #1 song of 90s comes from GNR, not Nirvana

  • ALSO.....the lack of Dave Matthews Band, among others, makes me weep for your obvious ignorance

  • scar tissue is WAAAAAAY to low in this countdown

  • Thanks for clearing up what years the 90s were made up of.

  • RHCP forever. This list needs more Radiohead on it, considering that OK Computer came out in 1997.

  • i agree with most of this but smells like teen spirit should be number one that song is a icon for 90s music great video though

  • I love it!!!

  • you know, I was about to be disappointed that you as well as others added Don't Cry by Guns N' Roses when their best song is November Rain... but then you surprised me, lol

  • Thumps up if ur watchin this in 2012

  • thanks that brought back some of my childhood memories

  • who gives a fuck about red hot chili peppers you waste of a 90's bitch wheres the goo goo dolls

  • I love number 1 the best!!!!

  • at 8:37 i thought it was playing kryptonite

  • Not to be critical but you got the translation for Rammstein wrong. It is, "You Asked." Hate in German is Hasst. Ask is Hast. The song is about breaking German wedding vows

  • 4:31 YEEEES!

  • HAHA! I missed freestyler!! :')

  • This is very good list! Oh yes THANX!=)

  • #1 should be Nirvana. Just anything from Nirvana.

  • Great list of songs!! Brings back a lot of good memories. Cheers!!

  • Oh lord, Guns'n'roses over Pink Floyd. Oh dear oh dear oh dear.

Do people even give a shit if someone puts November Rain on? I don't think I've ever seen a reaction more positive than "Oh yeah, that song. November Rain right? Yeah"

    Oh well

  • November Rain FTW!

  • thats a good list

  • merci pour l'ecoute tres bien d'avoir mis que quelque seconde de chaque morceau cela suffit pour s'en rappeler

  • to bad you didn't play the whole songs!

  • I don't think I want to live in a world where Crazy Town is considered better than Third Eye Blind.

  • @broncoholic843

Do you really mind some loser's list so much?

  • @matekusz1 I'm not bashing your whole list, it just made me wonder what this world would be like if songs like Butterfly were valued by everybody over anything in Third Eye Blind's anthology. I would be lost and confused in such a world, because that doesn't make sense to me. Doesn't make it wrong, I just don't get it. You have your reasons, I'm sure. Luckily we live in a world where opinions can be shared, so you can have Crazy Town and I can have 3eb.

  • @matekusz1 Also, I'm pretty sure Butterfly was late 2000 or early 2001. I could be mistaken, but that's when I first remember hearing it.

  • 1991 Likes

  • nice man

  • NICE

  • Where's Blind Melon/ No Rain!!!

  • come my lady come come my lady your my.i forgot the rest.

  • @tormentorox1 You're my butterfly

    Sugar baby

    Clever lyrics...

  • @Super131abarth

it is because metal and rock is is better than rap which is short for CRAP so yea there is your explanation :)

  • sexistttttt, try kristen hersh (your ghost), portished(humming), fiona apple(never is a promise), suzanne vega(toms diner), BJORK(joga), tori amos(blood roses), no doubt(don't speak), mazzy star ( fade into you), evanescence (solitude), PJ harvey (c'mon billy), sarah mclachlin(angle), joan osborn(one of us), Dead can dance (host of speraphim), sixpense non the richer (kiss me), the fugees (killing me softly), the sundays (heres where the story ends), and many MANY more!!!!!!

  • SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT IS #1.... just going by stats ..

  • you messed up a LOT of the song tittle and band names btw

  • Time for me to go postal . Rammstein - Du Hast.

Does not fucking mean you hate. it means you have. Its mistranslated.

  • great, high hopes, masterpiece.

  • best compilation video of all the songs of the songs i used to listen to as a teen. THANKYOU.

  • say it aint so by weezer was released on 2004 champ

  • @bladerunner511 "Say It Ain't So" is a song by the American rock band Weezer. It was released as the third single from their self-titled 1994 debut album.... which I have owned since I was 15.

  • 90s wasnt just about.... um fricken rock bands. dude hip hop like dr dre and snoop DOOGGGY DOOOOOG were a main part of this too. so your retarted put in some rap and go eat a cheese burger and choke on a cows dick

  • @ej15dude retarted, DUMBASS

  • @tankys92 oh im retarted look at what your listening to

  • there must've been like 6 or 7 Chili Peppers songs in there and 4 or 5 Metallica ones.

No Everclear? They were pretty hot in the mid to late 90's... Fastball's one hit wonder 'the way' was a big song near the end of the 90's, there's Sublime, which had their own following in the mid to late 90's, pop-wise there was No Doubt, The Cardigans' 'love fool', Ace of Base for early 90's stuff... it seems this list overlooked much of the 90's!

  • too many songs from the same bands. The list would be better if it limited it to one song per artist/band.

The 90's were populated with several other music movements, it seems this list only focuses on rock/metal (a genre that was much better represented in the 80s) with a few dance/pop numbers tossed in as an afterthought.

  • sure brings back some memories

  • Finally, a list I agree with.

  • this is one of the best videos of the 90's, I know almost every song and I was born in 92

  • Comment removed

  • Rammstein Du Hast!!! =D

  • This list sucks... all these songs suck...

  • @xxisaywepartiixx Opinion.

  • where is dance music?? there is only metal..bleah

  • @Super131abarth

    Lol xD

  • @Super131abarth ....there's like 5 metal songs. It's mostly dance.

  • @Super131abarth it says 'best songs' so yeah, some metal ^^

  • @ladyyy97 Haha fuck yea metal :3!

  • @Super131abarth wow you think that metal yo ureally need to listen to metal 1st -.-

  • @Super131abarth hardly any of this is metal, rock yes metal no :')

  • @Super131abarth metal? lol rock maybe but not metal

  • @Super131abarth I'm pretty sure C&C Music Factory, Bomfunk MC's, The Rembrandts Madonna, GnR, Coolio, Nirvana, Haddaway, R.E.M.,U2, Santana, RHCP, Depeche Mode, and Pink Floyd are not "metal" groups. In fact most of the other bands are just hard rock bands.

  • @Super131abarth because the 90s was not about the dance music

  • @Super131abarth fuck dance!

  • Went through all of this to get November Rain as #1!?

  • this was freaking awesome. i know ALMOST all of these songs and i was born in 96

  • "i get knocked down" Chumbawamba

  • Good to have a lot of genres!!!

  • where the fuck are the goo goo dolls?

  • @jbdemi7 They got all gooey and couldnt make it,,,,sorry sir.

  • Where are the Goo Goo Dolls??? One of the best bands of the 90's!

  • @lilvanderpuy no. definitely not. now GTFO /inb4/ fag

  • @MrGuitarshredder15 whoa...it is my opinion. so please don't use that language. it is not necessary.

  • @lilvanderpuy MY EXACT THOUGHTS

  • them bones of ALICE IN CHAINS is my N.1

  • Should probably be retitled to "50 random songs by some bands I like."

  • @Starvingwriter82 That's exactly what I was thinking.................

  • Oh i hope the list is in reverse ;(

  • Still got the Blue by Gary Moore... YESHHH!

  • I LOVE GUNS N ROSES!!

  • The 90's were the bomb. Born in 1988, ftw!

  • if you say top #50 songs from 90-99 then were is the venga boys??? prince???? or are these just your top 50???? becuase you should really write that!!!!.

  • @TheLinguanti Prince sucks cock. He always has and always will.

  • @TheLinguanti

    Why not to relax?

  • This is a joke!

    Where is The KLF=!?"?

  • @TheLinguanti

who the fuck is the venga boys? and why the fuck would prince even be near this list?

  • @TheLinguanti If he were to put The Venga Boys on the list then its what you want... if you don't like his 50 songs.. go make your own.

  • great ranking November Rain is an awesome song

  • unforgiven I is way better than II imo

  • No Third Eye Blind or Wonderwall by oasis?.-.

  • Everybody dance now, I got kicked out of a store for dancing to it.

  • @ThePackerfan8 haha funny mental image

  • METALLICA!

  • First, some excellent songs.

Second, the order isn't necessarily even the posters preference. I mean really, Iron Maiden as #2?

Third -- DU HAST. You NEVER pick the translation over the original, especially for Rammstein. It loses so much in translation.

  • Rammstein-You hate. What the fuuck?? Why didnt you put the original Du hast?

  • 90s generation right here :)

  • Beautiful music

  • creep is in the top 20 all time idk what its doing in the 30s of one decade

  • 4:35 THE ENGLISH VERSION OF DU HAST OVER THE ORIGINAL... BLASPHEMY!!!

  • Man you're a big fan of RHCP huh?

  • Depeche mode are awesome!!

  • Thanks for reminding me how many great songs there were back in the day ;)

  • ok, maybe not the best compilation, but November Rain is one of the best songs of 90s, when Guns'n'Roses was still awesome. it's not my fave from that decade, not even fave Guns' song, but i'm trying my best to be objective. and well, it IS good.

ah, and i wanted to yell for not putting Janie's Got A Gun, but just realised it's from '89, so u're save :P still we've got Amazing Mr Tyler and his band, so that's fine :) maybe not with Crazy (Cryin'?, Living On The Edge?), but whatever ^^"

  • lol when i think 90's hits, i dont think of metallica and depeche mode and weezer xD

  • smells like your number one was wrong

  • @chub smells like your opinion is wrong

  • dude your countdown blows get some music taste and come back later my ten year old brother could compile better 90's music

  • I hate you 90s. (I MISS YOU!)

  • <3 yes yes yes this list is perfect thank you for not just putting pop songs :D

  • Some of the songs I was like hell yeah and some I was like, is he retarded? True story, you are missing a lot brosky

  • So good. Thanks.

  • That should be Bob Dylan's version - knocking on heavens door

  • @KisameWs

Which was released in 70s? Yeah, a good idea.

  • @matekusz1 lol

  • november rain yeaaa

  • I'm on a 90's song search mission. Don't stop my top comment from disturbing you. Move on to the next songs.

  • very nice

  • i like the songs gonna make you sweat/everyone dance now, i'll be there for you, glorious, ray of light, scar tissue, gangsta's paradise, what is love, crazy, come as you are, otherside, losing my religion, bitter sweet symphony, one, enjoy the silence, smooth, tubthumping, enter sandman, song 2, everybody hurts, smells like teen spirit, under the bridge, high hopes, and novenber rain.

  • RHCP Was The Best Then,And They Are That Today.

  • there really is too big of a list to get them all, personally my list would be in the hundreds if i were to do the top songs of the 90's.

  • and sound garden ...black hole sun ?? where is it?

  • old memories .....too much party!!:)

  • just 9 seconds of this vid made me happy and i likedt it.

  • No Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, or Pantera????

  • I think you didn't put the titles properly.. the video isn't "the 50 best songs of 90's" but are the 50 songs you like of the 90's ... I miss a lot of other great songs that don't appear here.. -.-

  • 2pac, notorius big, where is ?

  • Essentially a musical desert. 99% of it was truly forgettable - the rest is just forgettable.

  • @MrGoblin60 I liked the 90s songs since I was born in the 90s. If you want to know what is truly a musical desert has been 2000-present.

  • @GracieJujitsu1 Hi Gracie. Apologies for having sounded so grumpy. Just because I didn't like 90's music so much didn't mean that others didn'y enjoy it. I agree with you about the 2000's; the music just kept getting worse. Lately though I've heard some pretty good music on the radio and this gives hope that we may be at the dawn of a new era in good taste.

  • don't like the list... at all.

  • No AIC???? Or Soundgarden??? What???????

  • Wow this list was lacking so many amazing artists.

  • Comment removed

  • where the fuck is Pearl Jam, AiC, Ever Clear, Soundgarden, StP, 2pac, Biggie, Wu-Tang, Dr. Dre.....

  • dislike

  • You're a fucking retard. Learn what decade the music comes from before you make a goddamn video! Scumfuck! Pink Floyd is from the fucking 70's!

  • @Drewsky840

Actually, the song "High Hopes" is from Pink Floyd's 1994 album, "The Division Bell."

  • What is love !!

  • I use to think that Rage Against the Machine (Bulls on Parade) said "Balls out for me" lol

  • I love you for putting high hopes at #2!!!! Love that song

  • loves it :)

  • Thank You for this amazing compilation, great job!

  • just enjoy the music you people!!You left out this and you put that, pleasee. There are thousands of songs and this is an almost 10 minutes video.& at the and of it all is @matekusz1 opinion and likes.Nice choice of songs!!
