David is one of the most versatile contemporary young singers, and here he sings with soul and a touch of gospel. His Christmas album will be amazing. My understanding is that at least one of those songs will be in Spanish. Yet he just won 3 Teen Choice Awards for Radio Pop.  He is on the rise.

I disagree, Ray. Most people would breath/pause outside of words. That's what makes, for me, his phrasing so amazing.  His style is so natural to him, and his phrasing is much like how he builds a song. There is anticipation within a word for what comes next, just as there is from the beginning of the song to see how he builds it. He's SINGULARLY AMAZING!!!!
