in response to said argument, it's a false statement to assume 04-05 had "more talent" as the rep is completely different and you are listening to them on a digital camera in a terrible acoustic venue. Last year's crew did amazing througout the year in m opinion and this year have a legitimate shot at Semi-finals or better. Ask anyone who attended the Civil War Show last night.
@Chubbs228 I am not sure what the original comment was, but I will say this: I have been an avid OTR fan from 03' and it just seems like after 04-05, the precision has gone down. True its bad audio and not the best venue, but when you give a pitch and then come in 30 cents flat (almost the next half step down) you can't blame that on a venue. For me, the tuning just needs to be tightened up, which it was in 08-09 (I didn't hear 09-10). Its the little things that make you great, I think.
OTR is AWESOME every year. And no matter what, any choir, band, or anything else all have good years and bad. So you really need to give them a break.
Oh and the camera work is fine. it could be pitch black and still be good. Their song is really well performed and so camera work doesn't matter.
idk i rather liked it but you can hear the one guy comeing in kinda outta tone/pitch o-o at like 0:52 or somewere around that

lighting can't be helped when i'm filming on a digital camera, we're inside, and it's extremely bright outside.
and give em a break. it was the first time they sang demons all year.
