  • The movie is a visual spectacle, i dont get why being a pg-13 movie is bad, its not necessary to be as gruesome as Saving privet ryan to still portrays the horrors of war. I really loved the movie and although it is obviously an oscar bait it is a great story and imo it is worth watching.

  • You're wrong, the horse was a very good actor in this movie and just said yes to another tintin movie

  • @wepper5 LOL. Get me his agent!

  • @LizManashil Well, in the interest of full disclosure... here are Just Seen It we *all* find Liz to be slightly annoying. -- Dennis (who is now hiding from Liz)

  • God i hate critics. MAKE YOUR OWN FILM, THEN CRITISIZE.

  • @mr9396 Uh, hello? We're film students, we *do* make films. That's the whole point of our show, mr9396!!

  • @JustSeenItReviews. Sorry, Exception to you guys. But loads of film critics rip the hell out of good films, with no achievements themselves.

  • Emotional connection with a horse...clearly this ass knows nothing about being around horses...I have horses and if you have ever scene horses with abused children or handicapped you would know horses are very emotional, do have human connection and empathy...

  • @EmilyColleen27 Hey, Emily, can't you have a difference of opinion with someone without calling them names? That's kinda immature, don't you think -- or maybe you actually are 12 years old?

It's an interesting point you raise and might almost have been worth considering, except for abuse you direct at us -- now we're not considering anything you have to say.

    Try again.

  • Good debate--I agree totally with the guy on the right. Warhorse is a magnificent work of art. The combat scenes aren't as gruesome as Saving Private Ryan, but awesome nonetheless. The horse--as it should be--carries the story and he carries it with a brilliance that will fully engage the emotions of any viewer willing to open himself/herself to the experience.

  • Enjoyed this up until the closing line. Both reviewers make valid points. I think that people will react strongly one way or the other, following points made in this review but the "big picture" of the film, and uncovering the lost story of the horses who served and died in the war, should make this film a winner.
