  • trucks are banned on NC side but not TN side...

  • I will NEVER go There!

  • they should really put a sign for trucks DO NOT COME THROUGH IF YOU ARE A TRUCK...

  • This should be the next Pike's Peak.

  • I seen a guy die on that road on his bike when I was a kid. My dad pulled over and found the guy on the side of the road, he tried to revive him before the ambulance came and it was too late. Riding that road is almost suicide.

  • There is a sign on the TN end way before that area "suggesting" trucks find an alternate route now. I drove a truck for some time and if I looked at the sign and then at the detour I would have to make to go the other way I would still take the road. The sign doesn't do the road justice. I'm sure I would have taken a truck across once if I hadn't already been familiar with the road..

  • 1:40 LOL thats @JDM600rr

  • what i live in sc

  • I've nearly hit a rig twice on US 129. They seriously need to reroute them and avoid to avoid the issues.

I've also seen my fair share of near wrecks/wipeouts on this road, as well. Usually bikers going way too fast and cutting lanes.

  • i seen dat amuse s2k :D

  • They need to post it as a no truck route I drive truck and I would not want to end up on that road

  • This is where i live :D me and my dad have driven the dragon tail many times with the easy riders of North Carolina, It is a very very dangerous road. The video does not do it justice trust me..

  • ricer s2000

  • Been there. Great road but it is getting bad with all the big trucks and noobs.

  • that flared honda is ..lame

  • STUPID TRUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I survived the tail of the dragon :-) The rules are simple. 2nd gear, rear brakes only and remember that many of the curves have a dip, which even when going slow enough to make the turn, coming out of the dip forces you towards the oncoming lane of traffic.

  • I know that road.

And my knee sliders do too.

  • I'v seen so many Big Rigs haul ass late at night on this road. They are ruthless at night.

  • I like how the s2k at 2:48 has a V8 sound to it.

  • I drove that road in 07 let me say this what they aint no joke that damn thing is insane but they need to ban those rigs I literally had to stop to keep from getting hit

  • good idea: shoot any trucker that uses this road and end up killing someone, you cant justify taking up 2 lanes by a simple "vehicle too big", its its too big, TAKE ANOTHER ROAD

  • i wanna go there.

  • More people are killed at Daytona Bike week. As mountain roads go this one is only special because it is such a good road.

  • every road here in Greece is much worse than that

does it mean we are gonna kill ourselves? -no

people in the us are not used to turn with so many straight roads, so when a curve appears they just fall

  • @yoshidis4 That is the dumbest thing I have heard anyone say. Unless you have ridden it you shouldn't comment. Video does not do it justice. With that said, most accidents happen there due to ignorance...but please remember, thousands of people have navigated it with no problem. So please don't put us all in one category.

  • @ssacra22 ive driven in much much much worst conditions much much sharper dangerous near the cliff turns even during rain and snow and i ride since i was 16. That specific road makes absolutely no impression to me, still i havent crashed but instead im used to such roads, i am speaking with much higher experience than 99.9% of the drivers that are using that road in the us, and what im saying is if you are used to curves like that, you end up having no problem at all.

  • @yoshidis4 How can you possibly speak to the experience level of the riders in the US? You have no idea....I started riding motocross when I was 8. I'm 44 now. My point is that while 24 have died there in the past 10 years, hundereds of thousands have had no problem. What you fail to realize is how diverse the US is.You obviously have no idea how big and numerous our mountain roads are. If you haven't been here and ridden here in the US, not sure how you can justify such comments.

  • @yoshidis4 Don't remember the last time I saw a Greek MotoGP champion or motocross champ. If you were all such great riders, you would be dominating the various motorcycle racing series.

  • @ssacra22 who said we are great? i just said we dont have so many accidents caused from a couple of turns.

we cant produce motogp, f1 etc drivers because there is no infastructure, and the "non-profit" million making single authority of racing (ΕΛΠΑ) is so corrupted that it blocks any effort. Imagine that they are trying to build an f1 track for over 20 years. So far, only in paper and in the minds of some enthusiasts. Also there is one Greek F3 drvr went to germany to get license lol

  • @yoshidis4 That is fair enough. I just felt that you were judging the riding ability of Americans based on the few that have had accidents there. And by the way, not only Americans, but people come from all over the world to ride that road. I wish you guys luck in getting MotoGP. I think it is amazing and I am going to Indianapolis this year for the first time to watch live. A good discussion...hope there are no ill feelings. Cheers and ride safely.

  • They really need to stop the big rigs on that road. Just shows that someone has their head up their butt when it comes to public safety. yes in AZ we have several stretches of nice twisties that do not allow trucks and it's nice to know only cars and pickups will be there...with the occasional motorhome.

  • best way to clean up this mess is to put some of those one way tire rippers in every curve. Truck or bike goes into the wrong lane, they get their tires ripped open and learn a lesson about taking chances of killing someone because of their murdering method of driving over the line.

  • @MikeCarolina Yeah and someone drops and slides across the "rippers" That's like going through a shredder. Not to mention that they shred those tires and will have to sit blocking traffic waiting for a service truck with how many tires to change. Yeah that'll slow down traffic for a few hours! I wonder how long far the back up would be? A mile? 2?? 3?? BOTH directions?

  • @vanwavanwa

Good, keep your panties off the road. One less person in my way.

  • @AlrightThen15 you're a grown man with a child if not children, and you act this stupid online. GOOD ONE LESS PERSON IN MY WAY. I don't even ride you are just so ignorant you assumed I did. lol. Stupid people like you caring about themselves rampaging around like a douche are why roads like this are dangerous. Hopefully your kids don't grow up as ignorant as you.

  • I still have not figured out why they don't outlaw large truck traffic. All of the twisty roads out here in Arizona have that protection.

  • @cashstore1 they just past something blocking big trucks from going on this. so glad they did seeing as a bunch of us are meeting up to take this beast on!!!

  • @cashstore1 I agree. I actually lost a friend because of a truck violating this law on prescott's 69-A(I believe thats the highway). The rear of his truck hit him.

  • @valkabo Do you live in Arizona?

  • They don't have signage telling trucks they are prohibited? How about adding height restriction barriers? Seems like a simple problem to solve.

  • this read is dangerous ONLY because there are STUPID people doind STUPID things

  • @ffdaasssd You must be a stupid person then, cause you obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

  • @mcgee102814 Sure i am mcgee102814 and you got to be a smart person ( not :P )

    ahahahahhaahahahahhaahahahahhaahahahahhaahahahahhaahahahahha

  • @ffdaasssd I think that just proved your ignorance.

  • @ffdaasssd This comment is dangerous only because of hideous typos.

  • ......because it would be too much to put a sign up at each end of the road limiting the size of vehicle!

  • Great piece Daryl, Lorie, and Ron!

Discovery messed up the editing so bad. Why does Daryl's Honda sound like it has a V-8? Why film in the Evo and do cuts to exterior showing the S2000?

Daryl and Lorie represent us well. Discovery: Chop editing, really???

  • @PaleRlder Remember the song where you wound up on the cutting room floor? At least it still sounds like a car! I love it when there is a jet scene and it's in a dive and what do we hear/ Yep a twin engine prop sound! Most people watching this has no clue! The rest sit there shaking their heads at the sound effects! The truck horn at 3:24 & 5:48 fake!

  • I figured I'd post this too since everyone else has. Lol. I really don't think it's that dangerous.

  • @thatGENEguy Not when you're going 10 mph. Cars would actually pull over to let bikes go by (including me, and i'm slow!)

  • @kiaistar Thank you!

  • Comment removed

  • @kiaistar The road isn't the problem, it's the morons with more h.p. than i.q.

  • @markleyg True, true. Unfortunately, Graham County doesn't have enough manpower to keep them off the road. (Hmm. 10 ft bar.)

  • Comment removed

  • That is the most intellegant thing that has been posted in this thread!

  • that far from a hospital..... and that many turns... yet there is very little done for truckers and injuries. If I was a local I'd have built a giant bar 8-12ft high so all the truckers have to turn around. They should put a turn around spot for truckers, and make it impossible for them to enter the road.

  • @lifeisgood070 The terrain is so hilly, it would be too expensive to build a turn around. But a bar would be a great idea. At the very least, signs. ... (I slayed the dragon on a 1983 Suzuki!!!)

  • @kiaistar So you are part of the problem.

  • @markleyg LOL! Troublemaker is my middle name ;)

  • 3:24.... What the FUCK is that FUCKIN cunt of a truck doing on a fucking road like that?!?!?!?!

  • @ShaneyPo0 It's a US Highway, and like the narrator said - they're just following their GPS which shows it as a major road (which it is). You won't find many truckers with local knowledge using it.

  • @mjordan812 Yeh I know, hence something should have been done about this already.

  • @ShaneyPo0 And what is wrong with your vocabulary? Must be tough communicating when you only know one word. Kind of reminds me of an infant who uses googoo for every word.

  • @markleyg The word "FUCK" used as emphasis (in some cases), in a topical conversation, emotes feelings of disgust, anger, hatred, love, excitement, disappoint, glee and almost anything else that one might feel the need to use it in. If you look it up in the dictionary, you'll see that it is, in fact, an actual word.

  • @ShaneyPo0 Wow! One word that does it all. You ever considered being a professional writer? You obviously have built up the vocabulary to express all that is necessary such as disgust, anger, hatred, etc. Look forward to your riveting writing.

  • @markleyg No never, they get shit money. I look forward to seeing the stick come out of your ass and you actually get a sense of humor and realize you are just as silly as the rest of the world who leave comments, which you didnt like..... because someone used a naughty word ?...

  • @ShaneyPo0 Oh I don't expect to change you cause you are too lazy to develop a vocabulary. As far as a sense of humor, I'm getting a tremendous chuckle as you struggle to put a sentence together without a single cuss word.

  • @markleyg Why did I have to put a sentence/ small paragraph together for you without a single swear word? Fucking LOL!

  • Dragon + s2000= Epic

  • Been there done that!

  • IKES LAW = Ban trucks off hwy 129.

  • Post#1 I learned to drive trucks in the mountains of GA,NC,TN, and SC. and the Tail was one of those roads. It was like being thrown into the deep end of the pool to learn to drive! @Fudmottin DUDE! The TN side IS restricted to trucks from Chilhowee to the NC state line. That's all trucks except for local deliveries which Ron Johnson relies on to stay in business. NC is the state you need to pile on! As of tonight it's still semi legal to drive on but because of TN it's actually illegal!.....>>

  • @rolloverriderpgr Because there is no other route to get to before the state line truck drivers think they can make it! Well there IS Hwy143 which is almost as bad! Also contact major companies like Swift who still refuse to clear their own system as it routes them that way to save a few dollars of fuel! Well, also a few dollars of out of route driver pay which most of those BFI's will do! The idiots that rely on GPS for trucks are just that IDIOTS! They refuse to verify their routes .....

  • @rolloverriderpgr Post #3 against the tried and proven paper map in a book with all the information they need! The subject is almost an ongoing thread in The Truckers Report . com but many of the rookies who think technology is perfect, find out when that GPS comes back and kicks them where God split them! There are more than a few trailer roofs left by a ow bridge, or trucks stopped on a parkway a mile behind the big arsed sign that says NO Commercial Vehicles but moron keeps driving because...

  • @rolloverriderpgr Post #4 that idiot box called GPS tells them that's how they need to go! As for The Tail the morons don't look at the map and see that the top half of the tail just over the state line is in a pretty yellow that most maps use to tell truckers that there is some kind of restriction but gee wiz it's good down here and just keep on going! I wrote about a great fix for this problem. Put overhead drag bars up on each end of the Tail with a sign that says you hit this sign the fine

  • @rolloverriderpgr is say $500. THAT is about the only thing that will get truckers attention! Talk money out of their pockets and they sit up and figure out the problem! The first 10 fines should pay for the turnaround they need to build on each end! And the extra signs back a mile or so that should give them an idea of things to come! Ron? You need to be the leader of this! I would LOVE to see a weekend road race for the tail and add a truck race! That would bring a few bucks to the state!

  • @rolloverriderpgr Now someone do a hard ride through the tail as my riding and trucking days are over and I really miss some knee scraping! Oh Ron! I have an OLD T from back in 1987 I think! Old blue and a simple silkscreen in white! I might post a picture of it on my FB page! The rest of you ride safe and explore some of the other roads in the area! Stop at a truck stop and look at a Rand McNalley Drivers Atlas and look for the yellow roads! Those will make you clinch the seat!

  • @rolloverriderpgr You're a moron.

    ncdot.org/doh/preconstruct/traffic/safety/truck/data/Truck_Restrictions.pdf"

Now show me an official document showing a truck restriction on the Tennessee side.

  • @SlayerH8er thanks shithead for showing me the same page I used earlier just didn't enter it but ur link is dead, anyway, 30 ft trailers aren't trucks to me. Those short widdle things can make "most" of the curves. About the same time they restricted 441 to trucks they did 129 which pissed me off as I was living in Young Harris in the mid 80s Long way to drive to get home. There is a change in Aug. 10 '10 they changed it to 30' trailers. Stupid move which only benefited local companies....

  • @rolloverriderpgr I wouldn't expect you to know how to cut and paste the URL into your browser. Thanks for not disappointing!

  • Comment removed

  • @SlayerH8er So how about showing us that TN restriction you were yammering about?

  • @SlayerH8er Chill slick. I had 2 funerals yesterday 1 a PGR mission the other an old friend. I got home and TN was closed. They are EST 1 hour before me. I'll have it by Tuesday. BUT! In the 2012 issue of the Rand NcNalley Truckers Atlas it is NOW yellow from Chilhowee, TN ,ALL THE WAY to Topton, Ga all 45 miles of the Tail. Rand does not put yellow on a road for kicks and giggles not to mention in the front under Tn restricted routes it says from Chilhowee to Tiopton GEORGIA!

  • @rolloverriderpgr Now I know you want a "legal link" and I'll do my up most best to get it for your future knowledge. Want to help? Get the info off the trucks going through and call the THP or NHP. Also cal the companies you see on the door BUT 30' is still legal reading the document from NC. Want more help for "advising" the DOT of TN & NC? NO? then sit down and STFU! Those that know how to do there is a remedy to stopping trucks! And 1/2 of the problem is in Georgia!..

  • @rolloverriderpgr US Hwy 76 junction at hwy 75 east of Hiawassee, GA: Next, US Hwy 2 Hwy 5/515 and hwy 52 south of Ellijay and lets NOT forget the main road h US 129 south of the intersection of hwy 75 at Blairsville, Ga. NEXT: Hwy 60 south of Lakewood Ga. Next: TN: Hwy 129 1/4 mile south of the Hwy 335 junction and 1/4 mile south of the I-40 junction.

Get TN and NC to foot the costs (it's their states where the road is restricted and if it saves 1 life from a run under..

  • @rolloverriderpgr that's nothing but a good thing! BUT they should foot the costs of 7 signs that activate for trucks with flashing lights and a loud bell or siren that 129 is a restricted route with this one piece of needed information! 11 miles of dangerous 318 curves with a small factual map of the Tail and with an advistory of how to by pass it! Then for the ones that can't read an overhead bar with all the bells and whistles just before it's impossible to turn around! ....

  • @rolloverriderpgr I have 32 years of trucking, learned to ride on a Bridgeport at 13 years of age, was the first motorcycle delivery guy in Atlanta, can do logistics like a crazed human and enjoy doing things like this to keep riders safe. IF they refuse to do it then this is where Ron comes in big time....

  • @rolloverriderpgr Start up a group to "Free the Dragons Tail" Tail of the Dragon Gift shop as Headquarters for the FTDT and the collection point for donations and set a cap which is the complete cost of these warning signs that fall under federal guide lines for road information signs. If the gooberment doesn't want to save even 1 life and save a ton of money then let those who enjoy that little ride show Uncle Sam how it's done. I'd bet a web site would be great also. DONE!

  • @rolloverriderpgr Someone run this by Ron!

  • @rolloverriderpgr Sam? Is that you?

  • @SlayerH8er No. Not Sam. Follow the screen name. All the first page on Google is me. Go figure? Or follow Rollover the Original which takes you to The Truckers Report. Most of what I do there is advice to new drivers and some ass chewing. My "hobby" is getting directions to rookies and old friends that are still driving and also if the PGR needs anything that they can't get fast enough.into NYC, Atl, Chicago and smaller towns yada yada yada.

  • @SlayerH8er "OMG you picked on me! Turns out I have that one in my truck assistance file. But you're welcome for giving you a hardon to play with in your over zealous attempt to make funny slam on me! I bet your BF is sooo proud! Not important! At least life goes on. Don't worry there slick I'll get over it.Still gives a 404 or a Google link no matter how it's put in. I'm just an old fuck who was riding and driving the Tail in the Mid 80's when I lived in Young Harris & Helen

  • Can't wait to hit the Dragon again :-)

  • @slayerh8er yeah, not my best performance, lol

  • If you look at IKE's VIDEOS. HE NEVER GO ABOVE HIS LIMITS. HEs a really good safe rider. HE ridden bikes for a loooong time and ride the dragon everyday.. THE STUPID ASS FUCKING TRUCKER KILLED HIM. RAN OVER HIM. HES A MURDERER!!!

  • I intend to navigate the Dragon again this fall. The biggest two dangers for a competent driver is trucks in your lane and "Hot-Doggers." (more guts than brains) I will be driving our BMW Z3 and bikes will be coming around constantly on the inside of an outside lane.

  • Don't think I want to ride an 11 mile stretch of "blood stained asphalt". That would be pretty slick. No grip.

Hell, its "Russian Roulette" at every corner. "Anytime you roll down that road, your taking your life in your own hands. The threat of death is all around. Since the Dragon never sleeps, it will kill again".

Don't know about you, but I'm staying home and hiding behind my keyboard.

  • @jksduke By all means, stay home and thank you.

  • @SlayerH8er See ya on GR's. ;)

  • RIP IKE!

  • Not banning semis or vehicle with trailers up there is stupid trucks dont need to be on that road.

  • I'm with most of you. I have ridden it and loved it....and I will ride it again. There are lots more people that navigate it with no problem, but there are plenty of idiots that think they can pull a Valentino Rossi and they can't! Those are normally the one's that get hurt. Not to say it can't happen because things do come at you quickly there...that's why you ride within yourself. They do need to close it off to big vehicles though. Too dangerous for all involved with them on that road.

  • I'm surprised that Killboy participated in a program that portreys The Dragon in such a negative light! Yes there are accidents up there, but why was there no mention whatsoever of the THOUSANDS of people run the road every year who have nothing but a great time? I also didn't know that he & Lori had vowed to only run it in a car from now on. I mean I totally understand/respect that choice given what happened to Lori, but it's not exactly a glowing endorsement for other motorcyclists.

  • Comment removed

  • @AlrightThen15 I've been riding there at least once a year since 2004 and I love everything Darryl and Lori have done for the area and continue to do - and I enjoy his photos every single week. They are The Dragon's biggest cheerleaders - which is WHY I was surprised that they participated in something that reflects so poorly on it. I didn't say they did anything wrong or "imperfect"... I was just surprised is all. I'm going to assume they didn't realize how negative the piece was going to be.

  • @ZZZRaven65 It's dangerous and deadly and just waiting to kill you. Stay home!

  • @ZZZRaven65 We discussed those other aspects of safety and camaraderie, but they were more interested in drumming up the drama. Power of editing I'm afraid...just try to enjoy it. They were going to do a show about the place with or without us, might as well work with them and make the best of it.

  • I loved riding the tail...my next time I want to do it on a bicycle.

  • @TheFirBall Do you like your bicycle with or without paint?

  • @SlayerH8er I done some reading about cycling it..There are alot of people who ride but it is done in the earlier morning...I loved riding it on my motorcycle and will ride it again..

  • @SlayerH8er Hahaha +1

  • Respect man

  • I dont really see what the problem is, in Norway all our roads are like this. You quickly get used to drive on this kind of roads. Even on snow and ice!

But on the other hand we have banned trucks longer than 75 feet in Norway...

  • @Andreaszzz84 North Carolina is like your country. They banned trucks on US129 and NC28 effectively making it illegal for trucks to use the "Dragon."

Tennessee makes way too much money flying people with skinned knees to hospitals to worry about banning trucks.

  • @SlayerH8er The sad truth :-(

  • @Andreaszzz84 LOL! On average most trucks are 1 foot shorter! For almost 10 years I was 74' in 6 trucks. But that's were I kept the 5th wheel set! Even back when trucks were still legal on 129 I pulled mainly 45' and 48 ' trailers and I was at 63-64 feet. That made taking those curves easier and kept me out of ditches. Aren't most of your trucks the cabover design and not a "hood' as almost everyone uses these days?

  • @rolloverriderpgr You are right, since we have so strict rules about the lenght of our trucks we only have cab-over trucks in scandinavia...

  • @Andreaszzz84 My first truck to drive all over the region was an International Transstar II and a 40' or 45' depending oh which customers I had to go to! It got to where the tail and all the other roads were my personal GrandPrix! My last drive on 129 with a truck which was a Pererbilt 359 with a Cat 425 and a 48' Trl. Took me just at 45 minutes but it was night time and because you can use on comming headlights as a warning all those corners were fun! I could do daytime in an hour

  • RIP Peter Perry - my besty - you are terribly missed...

  • A lot of people that crash here drive beyond their limits, which confuses me because even if I stay well within mine I still find it enjoyable.

Can't wait to drive on it in May. I'm just hoping my gf doesn't end up puking.

  • @dblazian33 Some crash because they ride beyond their BAC limits. Slay on!

  • one thing i noticed at the end of video was "the one you don't wanna meet" he was an oversized load which have special permits and routing which means either the state of tn or nc routed him thru there i have yet to be there anxiously await the day i can get a break from 18 wheels and get back on 2 for awhile

  • @bushman979 The section of road you saw that truck on is in North Carolina. It is illegal for any truck tractor pulling any trailer over 30 feet in length to be on that section of US129. If that load was indeed permitted, it would have required front and rear escorts which it obviously did not have. Slay on!

  • Been there done that three years in a row in a smart car with smart CARolinas car club.

  • Did Minis on The Dragon last year for the first time (before it was totaled...not related to the Dragon). Loved it, and it was a blast. But you have to respect it. Stay on your side at all times or it will be your last turn.

  • I used to be one the drivers that would go up there every year to participate in MINI's On The Dragon.

Now I'm lucky if I can find 11 curves in 318 miles (Florida).

  • Did the Dragon in July 2011 with the likes of the Devils drop, Dragon Slayer and many others. Had a great 2,300 mile trip. Beautiful area, Killboy great work we purchased from you. KO

  • I've been to the Deals Gap area many times. it never ceases to amaze me that people think that they are driving on a closed race track.

  • @IbnFawzi Please stay at home where you are safe.

  • Comment removed

  • I've been driving this road almost everyday for 33 years. The only two things that make it a "Hell Road" are motorcycles and cars that drive way too fast, and the big trucks. If you drive this road slowly and take your time It's no big deal. I only worry about the motorcycles and cars hitting me. I'm not driving fast enough to slam into the big trucks. But, I do agree big trucks should not be on this road at all.

  • @SouthernCowboy78 The only threat those motorcycles and cars that drive "way too fast" pose to you is if someone is in the wrong lane. Do you drive in the wrong lane? Do you think only fast people drive in the wrong lane? What is the real root of the problem?

  • @killboydotcom No I do not drive in the wrong lane. I know not to cross the yellow line in Deal's Gap. I worry about the motorcycles and cars losing control and coming into my lane and hitting me. Many times the bikes lean over into my lane, or pass in bad places. Deal's Gap is not a place to drive fast. It's a public road with families on it. In 2001 a guy laid his bike down and it slid under the front of my truck and hit my axle. Luckily no one was hurt. He came into my lane.

  • @killboydotcom I'm not throwing off on people who ride responsibly up there, or ride fast. I know a lot of people that have no problem riding fast up there. I respect the faster moving traffic and I always use pull offs. But you know some people drive like idiots up there. They are what scares me.

  • @SouthernCowboy78 By "ride responsibly" you mean with a case of beer both in the saddlebags and in their bellies?

  • @SlayerH8er That's usually the first ones the dragon gets.

  • @SouthernCowboy78 I'm with you there, just hate to get stereotyped with those other "fast" people. (who usually aren't even that fast, just sloppy) My wife, my friends, and I go pretty quick up there sometimes, but we keep it as respectful as possible and try to coexist with the other traffic.

  • The thing I hate most are the damn semi drivers that know damn well that they shouldn't be there. There's signs well before and after about dangerous switchbacks.

  • Thanks deuce! Yeah the footage of the red S2k is Austin Cabot (aCab) and the rest of the silver S2k with and without widebody kit (complete with V8 engine sound dubbed in) is our car...in fact all of the onboard footage, bike and car, aside from the crash footage, is me.

  • i would not be on the tail of the dragon

  • @dave33144 Good!

  • @dave33144 Thank you for your support!

  • @SlayerH8er ur welcome anytime

  • ive seen all of those gopro/drift first person videos on youtube i didnt know they could use those videos on tv

  • @smokydaburr anything posted on the internet that is not copyrighted can be used by anybody, for anything. hence why photogs normally post low res, watermarked pics instead of high res unmarked pics

  • @smokydaburr All of the onboard footage was shot by us over the years, and we worked with them on this piece/signed releases so they could use the footage.

  • I love how they have more s2ks in this video than any other car.

  • Thanks to apdeuceftw for uploading this one. Recorded it last night, so my mom could see me on TV, lmao. Wanna buy a copy but can't find it on the Discovery store. Yeah, that's me making a mistake @ 2:20... doh!

  • @rmullaney1977 Way to slay, Punisher!

  • Just a minor correction to the video. Ike was my friend. He didn't lay his bike down. He hit the rear end of the trailer which ran over him. He was alive at the scene when I got there. It's a day I will never forget.

If you live in Blount County, Tennessee, please urge your representative and governor to ban trucks over 30 feet in length on that portion of SR-129. There is a truck turn around available.

  • @Fudmottin Thanks Fud!

  • @Fudmottin 129 in TN IS restricted to commercial Vehicles! From Chilhowee to the NC state line. You need to climb up NCs ass! Read my long 4 posts below or in front of this one.

I have a fix to keep trucks off of the Tail! It should also cover RV's but that might not happen! Ask for mirrors in the curves. Now to really have fun drive at night! That's a rush BUT you have on coming headlights to warn you of whats in the curve coming at you!But ride with someone else in case you screw the pooch!

  • @rolloverriderpgr I heard that NC did put in restrictions for vehicles over 30 feet. Locals would know better of course.

Any vehicle that can't stay on it's side of the double yellow doesn't belong on that road.

  • @Fudmottin How about contacting our representatives to enforce the 30 mph speed limit so we can eliminate the morons with too much hp from coming here.

  • @markleyg Can you really ever have too much horsepower, Nancy?

  • Comment removed

  • @markleyg Although there were no cops out the day before Ike died, usually the pullouts are filled with cop cars. It seems they can't write enough tickets on the bikers.

You might also be interested to know that the people who come from all around to see the park and ride 129 SPEND MONEY THERE.

  • Awesome coverage...I think KILLBOY will be happy. Love the Dragon

  • RIP Dwight Ike Woodard.

  • I missed the show last night... thanks for the upload!
