Hey Danny. I just wanted to say thanks. I have a congenital heart defect and due to past surgeries and anti-arrhythmia meds I've developed a mild form of bronchiectasis. My pulmonologist has been trying everything to help me get rid of this cough and congestion, which I've had as far back as I can remember, but nothing seems to work. He recently prescribed an acapella device. I've had it for a week or so, but my doc really didn't make it clear how to use it. Your video really helped. Thanks!!!

I don't have CF but because of genetic disorder I have I am prone to infections. I get lung infections with thick mucus, cough which sounds like yours and asthma symptoms. Must be so tiring to have it all the time. My dr recommended I get that device too. Looks like it works doesn't it? Even though we both have different diseases I hope there is a cure for us someday in our lifetimes!

man, some of those coughs are so hard! when I see you cough like that I just wanna rub your back for you...I can't imagine how you go through this every morning! why do you spit it into a bottle? at least the stuff you cough up looks clear...it's not dark or green or brown. bless you...! you're a tough young man for sure.

Wow I though I cough hard! I have real bronchitis and I have to do the nebulizer thing it sucks but it helps.

Your video really helped me understand CF treatments thank you. I had to write an extensive paper on CF and thank you for the help and im sorry you have to go through all of this just to breathe normal and try to do normal activites. You are awesome for being so strong and having the strength to do this on youtube as well. :) your amazing.

I agree peg. Last time I coughed that hard I got myself a case of hemoptsys, and it wasn't pretty.

becareful with those violent coughs mate...sometimes the can cause a rupture
