Rhapsody for the Variophon

Hello,

I bought one with the gig-rack. I couldn't get a sound out of it. I guess the keyboard needs electricity. If I shouldn't work I could sell it to you, the rack powers on and there are 4 cartridges.

Nice to see some Variophon on youtube - there are so few of us! I have the Gig and the Spot, and several blow controllers (like melodica - some I will sell - I prefer the keyboard). I also have all 11 voice cards except the 12th, very rare harmonica card.

Very nice song.This song could slide in nice as a movie soundtrack piece.The tracks & sounds blend perfectly.Very moody & it's just plain cool.

The expression you get out of that is amazing.

So this instrument was using breath control BEFORE Yama ? Sounds better to me ,from what I remember,than what pros are getting out of Y's breath controller.

Thanks! I´m starting to use the Variphon again...trying to find clarinet sound cartrigde and extra blow conroller or "music cockpit" would be nice!
