The machines use an RNG (random number generator) to determine their results but they have very few random numbers tied to a big win result, and most of the numbers will result in a small win or no win. The RNG is cycling through thousands of numbers per second and the moment you hit "spin" you get whatever result it's on... So no he wouldn't have gotten all those symbols because hitting the max bet button would have been at a different nanosecond giving a different result.
I hit a Lucky Seals penny machine once for 189,740. All the little old ladies were dancing around me like it was a progressive. I had to explain to them it was only $1897. But it was still fun!

I read you work for the IRS. I won $15.000 in gulfstream casino in miami two months ago and they paid me only $10.500 ($4500 less for taxes???).

Love that game. Played it a lot in Atlantic City. The girl friend got like the smallest jackpot while we were there. It was only a nickel machine, so it was only like a $50 win, but still :-)

My friend hit this up here at snocasino on max bet($3) and got $75,000! If it had not been in the bonus he would have won $1.2 Million! At first he thought he might have won that but in the fine print of the machine it says the top prize was only in non-bonus spin. Hey $75,000 still great, he wasn't complaining, well just a little, LOL.

The Feds get 28% and the state tax varies. Some states like Florida and Nevada dont tax winnings. If you are a casual player, always take the taxes out at the time of payment, so you dont get hate mail next April from your local revenue people or the IRS.

You're kidding me! You mean to say that there are QH machines that are paying over $1M !!? The most here in Vegas is around $12,000. On QH Platinum, it's also around $12,000.

It's actually called Google Adsense. I can disable those pop ups, however I get paid if people click on the ads! :)

Actually it depends on the casino. Some of the "off strip" hotels, charge $1.50 for max bet on these machines and most on the strip are $2.50 or even $3.00.

I love this game. I hit 8 quickhit symbols with a 2 bet on a 2cent machine at Mardi Gras in South Florida. I didn't get the max payout, but was about 800 bucks.

11,000 wow, nice job. I love this game. I play it whenever i'm in Atlantic City. The most quickhit symbols I have gotten in a row is 6. But I made a nice 350 dollars on the free spin bonus game once before.

No, with Quickhit Platinum, there are seperate symbols that need to come up if you max bet. If you don't get all of them, you don't win diddley squat. You'd only win if the original symbols come up. The thing I love about QH games, is that they even have the bonus where you get free spins and more!

Yes, usually during the bonus games, if three more of the "free games" symbols come up, you'll get a retrigger and get more bonus spins.

I have a friend who hit the progressive symbols on a Monopoly Jackpot Station machine... And he wasn't betting max!! He was numb. Instead of several hundred thousand dollars he won a little over $600.00. Bummer. (He is still alive though, he didn't commit suicide over it. Lucky he has a sense of humor.)

Especially when if he had betted max he wouldn't hae gotten the symbols. Everyone knows that the machine is programmed to pay off a certain amount and not based on chance.

Well, yes and no... The machines use an RNG (random number generator) to determine their results but they have very few random numbers tied to a big win result, and most of the numbers will result in a small win or no win. The RNG is cycling through thousands of numbers per second and the moment you hit "spin" you get whatever result it's on... So no he wouldn't have gotten all those symbols because hitting the max bet button would have been at a different nanosecond giving a different result.

I hit a Lucky Seals penny machine once for 189,740. All the little old ladies were dancing around me like it was a progressive. I had to explain to them it was only $1897. But it was still fun!
