lol my cat's name is Emms (named after M&M's .. not Emma but still cute) and I have a auto-rake type of cat litter machine. I think the one you have is better as it is covered and puts the litter in a bag instead of having to deal with plastic containers. Thanks for the vid. My cat attacks the kind I use as well. Good thing they don't make noise or move when the cat is in. ;)
I had that same litterbox for my kitten,but he'd jump in when it started to turn,he'd bang up his head from smashing into the walls. funny but not good so now he uses a $5 plastic box T-T;
I think Emma was trying to tell the Litter Robot to not give up her contribution, and was mad at it. Emma: "GIVE ME BACK MY PRESENT, D**N YOU!!!" :-) J/K.
Is this thing any good? We tried the auto-litter-box that rakes the litter out, but my cats were too scared of it because it was so LOUD. This video looks like it's not loud, so it might be okay for my furballs, but two of them are weenies and will jump thirty feet if you open a soda without warning them first lol
It's pretty loud, I must admit (my cats are not skittish at all), but it never turns while the cats are in there or even in the vicinity (unless your cats like to hang out by the litter box). There's a timer on it...about 5-7 minutes after the cat exits the globe, it will start turning and dispose of the litter.
What a crack up! We have a black "cement mixer" LOL, too! Only one of the cats will use it. The other one, well, he's just plain litter box challenged, period!
Please don't think I'm off my rocker, I must be from another planet, cause Ive never seen a litter box aka robot that looks like that before... where does the cat use the bathroom at? does it go inside the whole in the middle???
Did anyone else notice that she hurt her paw attacking it? And all the owner did was laugh and keep on taping.......sorry but if that was my cat i would have made sure that she hadnt hurt her paw badly.
First of all, thank you for your concern for Emma. She was not hurt whatsoever during the taping of this film. We did make sure after we stopped taking the video, and her paw was fine. Please don't call the ASPCA on us. =)
Good eye, but the cat didn't limp as it walked away so it wasn't hurt. Cats have claws that open as they strike objects that also absorb and shield them from damage. The claw/s may break, however, they grow back. She licked her paws and then 'shook it off.' It didn't appear concerned at all. But good eye, just the same.
The force is strong with Emma...taking on the Death Star by herself.
Serial tho..do you like the robot? I'm thinking about getting one...doing research...making lists of pros and cons of all the automated litter devices.....modern life is so exciting.
It works surprisingly well, unlike some of the other motorized litter boxes out there (including the ones that use a rake mechanism to filter the offending matter from the granular litter). They released a new version that has a deeper bin. I have 2 cats, and I only need to change the bin twice a week.
NO WAY, poor thing

horsegirl7890 2 years ago
That was too funny! I'm caught between getting this or the litter-mate. Is there a special litter brand that you need to use?
Clatu001 3 years ago
No, nothing special - just Arm & Hammer Multi-Cat.

if your cats are too scarred to use it because of the frightening noises, then it doubles as a cement mixer for small home renovations.

Does she use the litter robot regularly? I heard some cats wont use them. They are probably scared of it.
lorikatie2007 3 years ago
Both cats use it regularly. They were initially unsure about it when I first bought it, but quickly got over it within a day or so.
