I tried this 15 years ago and tonights, didnt work then didnt work now. I used 8 teaspons of Potassium Nitrate out of a instant cold pack and regular white sugar and a little baking soda so it would burn slow, at least thats the bullshit recipe i found and tried. Doesnt work, burns slow, barely smokes. I melted it all and let it dry. NOTHING

@1997lallen Yes you can. But its worth the time cooking it. It will burn a LOT smoother cooked, will produce at LEAST 3 times more smoke, and will last longer.

this is a good smoke grenade. mine always end up blowing out all fire and no smoke. If you leave the PVC about 6" longer, you would have a lot less fire damage to your ground.
