Do that with your front drive import 4 bangers. And the Hemi under Glass IS 1500 HP. It's a blown and injected 426 bored and stroked to 590 if memory serves. Don't remember the fuel blend but it's hotter than pump gas and under Nitro-Methane. The 426 Hemi was conservatively rated 425 Horse to satisfy DOT rules. These cars are from the time when 400 plus was the norm and expected. The Shelby Cobra was 505 HP stock. I've seen stock 67-70 Hemi's dyno 620 HP stock. And above a 1K with mild mods.

This 'Cuda is legendary. I've seen it run since the sixties. Seen it in person. A guy named Bob Riggle is the one who campaigned it, I think he recently passed on. But someone else has restored it, and it's booked around various big NHRA meets as an exhibition attraction. Yes, it runs a blown Hemi. I think it either runs alky or straight racing gas. The all motor car is a bit more high strung since it takes more to get a lot of power out of a 2.1 liter motor, so I'm getting around 25 on the highway with it. Still decent and takes $40 to fill.
