  • So Samsung cannot malfunction, or whatever you buy must work as long as you live? That is whay warranty exists.

  • i hate ppl bagen one samsung shit go and watch some lg, some, panasonic vid, all the same with the same shity ass comments dont let them shaft you dont let them do this... there all the same read up on some shit some time....

  • the best thing would have been to press the menu button on the samsung remote to confirm the issue is with the tv - the samsung menu appearing without the vertical line interfering it would have indicated that it is not a tv issue - since the person changes the input source, the problem went away which indicates this is more than likely not a tv problem - a little triage goes a long way

  • panasonic all the way

  • i think it is the FAN

I took mine apart and made sure the fans were blowing the heat OUT not into the TV and the problem was partly solved... now it twitches the fun on screen when the tv is on for too long... few hours to 6 and then needs to cool down for 15 min or more BUT my colors are ok

  • def. bad solder... when making electronics they use a process called wave soldering.Wave solder production lines include fluxing, preheating, soldering, and a conveyor system to transport the circuit assembly through the process. i know for a fact that the ribbon connected to the driver is at fault here....very simple to fix,, should not take a repair man more than a hour to fix... or you can do it yourself, just practice alil before trying.........

  • Its amazing how the TV`s firmware runs with no problem
