I wish I had Chris Cornell's vocals... Well, maybe his vocals from about 10-15 years ago. He still does well, but I prefer his older stuff. Don't hate me for saying this, but I actually do like some of his newer stuff (Timberland not so much), and I'll always love his Soundgarden/Audioslave years.

Also, let the man be as he is, not many musicians would wander off from their original musical styles to try other things. He's doing well, so let's at least respect that.

What is so amazing about Cornell is that there is so much emotion in his voice. Notice how he sings this song deliberately flat to convey the sadness. He is a good singer in technique but an even greater one in musicianship. Cornell and Scott Weiland are the two rock musicians that stand out to me in this respect, the latter more so for his songwriting.
