I have Nvidia 8600GT SLi 1gb DDR2 and it lags incretebly much on 1280x960 with all settings high

I have Intel Core Quad q6600 2.4 Ghz

2gb ram dimm 660mhz

500gb hdd.

What's the problem?

You should put the settings with no AA you will get far more fps.

Is 8800GT good for Shift?

8800GT is Great for shift, of course it depends on the rest of your rig, but with my rig and 8800 instead of 8600 i would get lik 70 fps!

Ok, my specs are:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ 2.00GHz

2 GB RAM

Windows 7 (Beta) 32-Bit

and nVidia GeForce 8800GT 1680x1050

And to tell you the truth, I don't understand those PC specs so good, so is smart to play Shift on everything maxed?

the only problem could be your processor, i think you could play it on maxed, if you disable AA or 2 times AA!

Thanks for the info, but I just downloaded demo, installed it, and when NFS SHIFT loading screen shows, it freezes and it's blank screen. I installed it again 100 times, but I think I won't be able to play it on maxed...
