Hey, thanks for uploading these videos, the AO2 games are my favorite series, I like your commentary, your the only other person that seemd to bother to find all the facts about the game and how the game works with its completely gray morality choices. Including which ending is the true good ending where they kill jonah.
Me and my cousin played this i was salem and he wanted to find out want would happen so he shot me i was friggin pissed and more so now that i've seen this
I was confused why I got negative morality cause nothing bad happend. If there is not sequal or turns out that killing your partner is the cannon ending then, well I don't know when i'll be playing the game again. I'm of the opinon that 40th day isn't canno cause at the end of the 1st game Salem and Rios start their own company 'TWO' what was it Trans World...Operations? Were is this in 40th day. So I thank you though because your the first person I have seen that calls killing johan the good.
@SuperGate1 Hey SuperGate, yah, it is confusing. I wasn't too shocked when Alice died, but at the end it was like WTF? In interviews, the designers say they made the ending the way it is to be able to make another game, well why do the stupid choice thing then? For TWO, the sequel starts with them doing a job & then Jonah coming in & taking over, also setting them up from the first place. Great game, crappy ending confusion! I say that ending is right because of the sequel sure to follow!
@Tylenahawk ahw man, I so hope there will be a sequel. I've only the the 40th day and the 1st game is no where to be found. So I ordered a second hand copy. I bet it'll be great fun. And can't wait for nr 3!
@EliteGhost001 Oh I am sure there will be, lol. Number one was fun, although be warned, the save system sucks ass, and I could not tell you how many freakin' times I had to begin all over again because I thought it had saved and it didn't. But other then that, good game. However the graphics are much improved in the 2nd one, the charaters in the first look kinda PS2-y in the cutscreens.
Noticed all of your points. Though so far, I enjoy the 1st game a bit more. I like the terrorists running at you, and when you shoot them they explode xD
But the save system.. I dunno.. it saves every chapter or something. every objective.
@EliteGhost001 I dunno, maybe it was just me but I played for 2 hours straight through the tanker chapter and the ones after that and when I went to work I had turned it off. Came home, turned it back on, had to restart at the tanker! I was pissed! lol.
@EliteGhost001 in the first AOT there is the chapter where you are on the navy air craft carrier/tanker and have to find the captain and the ship sinks.
As I was saying, I heard that the lead boss person thing...who made this game said that the ending left it open for a sequal. So I assume that killing Jonah is the correct thing to do. It would help is that fucking sad music wouldn't play when you choose to kill him. It's like the game is saying ''you didn't kill your partner even though killing him would be pointless cause it was all a bluff....shame on you''. I'm a complete moral whore, I always choose the good options so when I killed Johan I
@Tylenahawk I agree with you, the city beign saved and both you and your partner both surviving is the best ending I hated the killing your partner part cause it felt like I just played Army of Two and 40th day just so that one has to die in the end....F**K that. The so called 'bad ending is so much better than the games so called 'good' ending. I havew to ask when you say that both surviving is that because it's the officla ending or is it personal prefrence. I heard there ios a sequal so I....
@Tylenahawk yea but dude if its the right choice then why did i get a + morality when i shot my partner it didnt make sense i was like NO WAY when i shot jonah and got - morality.....

the thing about this is if you kill Jonah its a bad ending because your sacrificing millions of peoples lives for one person
