@TheFitnessShinobi Organized Religion is no different than organized crime. In terms of religion: We are all born with the jesus frequency. We all know right from wrong. Now we also have free will. One can be service to self or service to others. The weak can be so easily swayed and religion does an outstanding job on channeling the focus of the weak to absorb their power by using fear. The certin things that are done are not done becasue that's what church officals tell you. It is done to bring yourself closer to God. Yes it is true that you nor I know Christ personally. Through prayers and obeying his commendments we get closer to know him through our spirit.

We where all headed for hell but through Gods love he sent his son, to be down at the lowest points of human life for a chanch that we could be saved. @TheFitnessShinobi If you have accepted Jesus and you make an attempt to turn away from your previous life then there is no " we can only hope ", it is a gurantee that you will be in heaven. Jesus does not want us constantly in fear thinking if we're saved or not. Salvation is a free gift and all you have to do is accept it, it is not somethnig that is earned. No amount of sin can supercede grace. Where sin abounds, grace superbounds. Jesus won at the cross, it's done.

Jesus has opeaned up a doorway to eternal life, which he made possible by defeating death, then he gave us a choice he can not force everyone to be saved, the reason why we have evil in the fist place is becasue of freedom. It's a choice and to get through any door you actuly have to walk, waiting or beliving that you will make it through the door just won't work.

@TheFitnessShinobi I think you have a misunderstanding of the gospels. Jesus died for our sins and has given us the gift of eternal life and you do have to accept Jesus as your lord and savior, this is free will and so far we agree. However you do not earn your grace if it is already given to you by accepting Jesus Christ and being born again. We constantly make mistakes but those mistakes don't take your salvation away. God's grace through Jesus is a gift, not a contract.

@03chrisv A gift it is I agree with you on that. To accept Jesus into our life is a choice as well. The problem with that is simply beliving and accepting it dose not make it happen. Even Satan belives that Jesus exists. What we should be worried about is our actions, you have christians that rape people who have accpet Jesus, do you think they really have a good chanch of reaching heaven? It's our actions that are backed up with faith is Jesus that will lead us to him.

@TheFitnessShinobi As a Christian if you deny Jesus then and only then can you damn yourself. People get confused and think you have to earn your salvation after you're saved. That's an oxymoron. Grace overshadows sin and as much as most Chrisitnas don't want to accept it, you essentially have a license to sin. I'm not saying it's ok, but you are forgiven for all transgressions and at some point a saved Christian will be convicted by the holy spirit to turn their life around.

Grace is the tool that allows us the chance for redemption. there must be a change in our lives. the bible says we are a new creation, and to put off the old man and his old ways. faith without works is dead. we are only saved by grace and faith but i believe that if grace and faith is truly in us you will do those works because you love him. Christ said, if you keep my commandments then you can truly say you love me.
