  • How ironic that this video is not 1080p

  • 1080p(full HD) is ---> &fmt=38

  • When somebody says they have a 1080p camera, the "P" stands for progressive. But can someone tell me what the "I" stands for in 1080i?

  • I stands for Interlaced

  • Oh ok. Thank you.

  • interlaced

  • Ok thank you. :)

  • this is 1080p, the fault is on youtube side. type &fmt=32 at the end of the link

  • For 1080P "this video is most likely re-encoded now" add "&fmt=37" insted of "&fmt=22"

  • Lol thats not 1080p^^

  • lol will it surprise you that it is?

    add &fmt=37 at the end

  • why 1080p and not 1080, what are the units about?

  • the p stands for progressive scan

  • @tombofrog Interlaced versus progressive. Effectively double the framerate for 1080p (twice as many unique images are stored).

  • this is 720p, not 1080

  • 0:12 - 0:14 this is not 1080p :P

  • O.O oooooooooo

  • That - is - what - I - call - High - Definition

  • jesus

  • 720i ? or 480p ? :p

  • 720p

  • This looks incredible.

  • This is simply 720p. That's the max that YouTube supports at the moment.

  • 720p, actually. 480p is not used on youtube

    december 2009

  • What you said made no sense at all

  • 480p is High Quality. standard is 320p, HD is 720p

  • HQ has a maximum of 480×360, that's nowhere near 480p,

  • not 1080p, youtube supports 720p max.

  • watch in full screen on a 1680x1050

    real high q

  • Thats the screen res of my imac.. lol

  • nice

  • this is not working on my ps3 please help

  • downloaded this with orbit to see what settings it's at with mediainfo. says 1280x720with 2000 bitrate @ 30 fps. it may have been uploaded in 1080i but youtube converts it back to 720p.

  • you just pulled that out of your ass because youtube doesnt support 1080p, 1080i yes but thats the same thing as 720p

  • well don't be such an ass hole about it.... dick

  • if you werent such a fucking idiot and at the same time talked out of your ass confusing people then maybe i wouldnt be bitch

  • this guy is right

  • HD so nice

  • damn i need a video card....my computer can't handle this stuff anymore, lol

  • where got that Upload for HD 1080p Youtube? Please

  • wow super krispy! youtube is almost vimeo quality ..bout time!

  • id say better than vimeo cause youtube supports other frame rates besides 24p. now if youtube could just stream the hd smooth i would use it totally and ditch vimeo.

  • reminds me of a psp screen

  • Very cool. I can't wait for YouTube to allow us to watch all videos in high quality (I don't consider slightly above 400x300 "high quality").

The problem with a 12mbps bitrate is most people would not be able to stream it in real-time. It's still a bit much for streaming videos.

  • OH-MY-GOD!! Can you give the description of the video file you have uploaded? I mean what format, what codec, resolution etc... details matter :)

  • Bitrate - 12550Kbps

    Frames/s - 59.880

    Codec - H.264/MPEG-4 AVC

    Container - MP4

    Resolution - 1920x1080

    Aspect Ratio - 16:9

This is the source. But becomes 1280x720 downsampled by youtube like what disasterpastor45 said

  • that's what I wanted, thank you :)

  • u just can upload a HD vid nd thn put this code

    &fmt=22

    nd it bcomes HD

  • no it doesnt

  • SICKKKKKKKKK

  • disasterpastor45 is right

  • The mp4 file downloaded via FF VideoDownloader seems to have come up as 720p. I think 1080p was downsampled. I don't have a 1080p monitor though. I'm using a 1280 x 1024 desktop and Real Player plays the file at 99% zoom with no evidence of overt cropping from the YT full screen. The playback full screen via YT is very smooth compared to playback via Real Player unfortunately. (3.2Ghz DualCore Dell w/ ATI Radeon 2600 HD). Is there a buffer in Real Player to adjust?

  • isn't this actually just 720p? looks amazing still but my laptop must be crap becuz the vid streams all out of sync.

  • HOLY SHIT! dude thats the highest quality i ever seen on Youtube

  • OH SHI- BEST QUALITY ON UTUBE
