How could politicians and the three foundations believe the Barnes Foundation would be better served if it resided on the Parkway? The Cret building and its tranquil setting are such important elements in any visitor's aesthetic experience. . People should join Friends of the Barnes in their efforts to save it.
Our city government plans to demolish a memorial that was designed by Paul Cret in Portland, Oregon in the 1920s.

Excellent! This architect has contributed so much to Philadelphia. How could anyone think of dismantling his work.
