I never did learn how to play it properly so it's in great condition as it has spent years in a hard case being neglected.

Very nice, I worked out the intro to this quite a while ago judging by your version it seems I got it right, I've never bothered to go past the lead intro though as it's not amongst my favorite Clapton songs, you've inspired me to have a go.
