It's all over the place, this is where Cook and Clifford come in, the chemistry is missing here and that chemistry is the rhythm section of Creedence Clearwater Revival. They seem to be in a hurry to finish the song before it really gets going. I hope Fogerty softens enough to play some shows with Cook and Clifford in 2012 and show us how these songs should be played. No doubt Fogerty still has the chops as a guitar player, some of his work here is excellent.
What a fuckin' mess. First, somebody needs to shoot the drummer and the bass player. Goddam drummer is so busy with pounding all over his drums that he can't even keep tempo. John can't even play his own licks right (on ANY of his songs), AND, what happened to the feedback parts - that was the best part of the song.
